Tianfuzius
One of a group of 3 Sichuan Chinese restaurants, this one est. in 2015 is vegetarian while the others are not. Menu is in German, English, and Chinese with photo of each dish. The entrees are organized by tofu dishes, eggplant dishes, green vegetable dishes, hot pot, faux meat dishes. Food is mainly spicy but does offer mild dishes as well. Has open kitchen and a bar, plenty of seating. Open Tue-Fri 12:00pm-3:30pm, Tue-Fri 5:30pm-11:00pm, Sat-Sun 12:00pm-11:00pm.

Tianfuzuis Vegetarian Sichuan Restaurant - Edit
Dear Tianfuzius, Please come to Prenzlauer Berg! We trekked all the way from Prenzlauer Berg to Schoeneberg to eat here, and boy were we glad we did! We had Chinese steamed buns, fried Wan Tans with sweet and sour sauce, Spicy Sichuan Tofu Stew and Vegetarian GungbaoKung Po Chicken with peanuts - every item was delicious to outstanding! My non-vegetarian friend loved the dim sum more than anything and I savoured every interestingly different tasting bite of the tofu stew that left my taste buds in awe! The dim sum portions were small but the entrees were big, especially the stew! The service was nice and the restaurant interiors were lovely. Prices are fair for the quality of the food, portion sizes and location. I highly recommend it!
Pros: Authentic, Delicious, Mostly vegan
Cons: Not completely vegan - Yet!

AMAZING - Edit
Great food, good service and nice location. Went with a meat eater who loved it as well. Most of the dishes are vegan. 10/10, would visit if I ever came to Berlin again.

very boring - Edit
The restaurant is very nice and the waiters are very friendly. But my dish was really boring. There was no taste. I was really disappointed. :-(

Delicious - Edit
This place was better than we expected. The food was delicious and I loved the homemade Icetea. Too bad we couldn't try more of the food this place had to offer. The guy who helped us was nice and funny, so the service was also good! The only thing is that there was a lot of chili in the one dish that we had. It looked like there was red bell pepper in the dish but it was chili! I like spicy food but I don't know if people actually could eat all of that chili, or it was just to give the food the spicy taste.
Pros: delicious food, good service
Cons: bit too spicy for me

Authentic Chinese cuisine - Edit
As mentioned in other reviews before, Tian Fu is a Chinese restaurant that already has a vegetarian section on their menu. Tianfuzius is their third restaurant, and completely vegetarian. The interior is rather stylish, but the menu is super authentic (however, my judgement comes from Chinese places in North America, not from China). The menu is pretty big, so be prepared to study it for a bit. Best is to go with a bunch of people, to order several dishes and share.
Besides all vegetable based dishes, there's also a big tofu section, and they also do a range of meat alternatives.
The service was good, and friendly. This place is a bit more expansive than other veggie places in the city though.
Pros: Authentic, Tasty, Good service
Cons: A bit on the pricier side

Amazing authentic food! - Edit
Ok, I haven't been to China. But when a friend who just got back from there told us about this place and insisted we go, I thought it sounded like a good idea. I wasn't expecting food this good though!
We had the Feuertopf (fire pot), where they bring a mini stove and a pan with two compartments filled with spice infused stock. We were brought veg, tofu, saitan, mushrooms and noodles to put into it and had our own dishes, with dipping sauce made from garlic, peanut sauce and basil.
WOW!!! We at a lot and were totally full without feeling bloated. My friend told us it was pretty authentic and the staff were really friendly. I'll definitely go back to take other friends!

A must for lovers of Chinese vegetarian cooking. - Edit
“Tian Fuzius” is the recent all-vegetarian offspring of the well-established ”Tian Fu” restaurant, and – like its parent - specializes in authentic Sichuan cuisine. The place is situated in a nice residential neighborhood and offers a modern and rather stylish ambiente, including outdoor seating in summer. It is most conveniently reached by under¬ground line U3 (station: Viktoria-Luise-Platz) while parking in the nearby streets is usually difficult. The menu contains a number of vegetarian dishes also available at ”Tian Fu”, enhanced by a wide selection of new items with various degrees of spiciness, among them several tasty “mock meat” dishes. The staff is young, friendly and efficient. Although prices are substantial, the price/perfor¬mance ratio is excellent.
Pros: Authentic cooking, Nice location, Amiable staff
