An award-winning South Indian & Kerala restaurant in Lancashire!

Thira is located in Blackburn town centre and offers Vegetarian Thali at lunch time (11:30-14:30) and also re-opens in the evening (17:00-22:00). They have several vegetarian and vegan options, including Vegetarian Tiffin Box for 2 people to share (£19.50). VEGAN STARTERS include: • Medu Vada: Mashed white lentils fried in doughnut shaped dumplings. Served with sambar and coconut chutney. £5.50.
• Parippu vada: Crispy fried Bengal gram dumplings flavoured with shallots and curry leaves. Served with coconut chutney. £5.50
• Onion bhaji: Spiced and crispy deep-fried onions with gram flour. £4.50
• Cauliflower Varuval: Cauliflower marinated in homemade masala and deep fried. £6.50
• Veg Samosa: Deep fried wheat flour-based pastry, stuffed with spicy potatoes and peas. £5.50. VEGAN MAIN DISHES include:
• Avial: Mixed fresh vegetables cooked with green chilli, shallots, and coconut. Tempered with fresh curry leaves. £9.75
