A coffee shop on lower main street that offers drinks with soymilk option (might cost extra), and a small food menu that includes falafel, baba ghanoush, and hummus. Hot tea lattes can be made with soymilk, just make sure to check that the gourmet local tea blend does not already have milk in it. Live music Friday and Saturday. Reported closed to HappyCow.

I enjoy the Yellow Sofa for the fun, comfortable atmosphere and the hot drink menu. It is a comfortable place for a quick drink or to linger and slowly sip and refill cooffee and tea. I have never eaten the food, but I have the impression it is at least decent.
Some of the teas are blended with milk, so just be sure to check before ordering. Some staff are very knowledgable about this fact, others are not.
I like the owner's focus on locally-sourced products and socially consciuos business. There is a large selection of greeting cards for sale at the cafe, as well as select books.
Pros: bright fun atmosphere, adequate drink selection, socially consciuos business
Cons: milk in many products, some drinks are expensive
