Serves meat, vegan options available. Kitchen and coffee shop since Oct 2018. Offers many vegan dishes including a vegan breakfast with black pudding and tofu scramble, vegan French toast with aubergine bacon and maple syrup, vegan chia pudding, a vegan smoothie bowl, vegan 'VLT' sandwich, vegan chilli bowl, vegan pulled 'pork' sandwich, vegan dipping pot of gravy and vegan bubble and squeak. The soup of the day and chef's pasta of the day are both always vegan. The house wines are all vegan. Chef is vegan. Also has a vegan cake on weekends. Reported closed, Sep 2019.

Friendly cafe with some vegan options

The previous reviews I believe refer to the previous menu that may have had more vegan options at The Yard but given that there is no all veggie or vegan place ita The Yard is still a good option! there are only three vegan mains on the menu and no specials and we tried two which were both lovely if a little , well little!. No vegan cake on the day I went but the staff are friendly the cafe nicely done and best of all there is a helpful vegan serving which is always reassuring when eating at places which do meat and dairy. Here’s hoping they find the vegan menu popular enough to increase the options.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Friendly staff, Outdoor seating in a quiet courtyard

Cons: Serves dead stuff too, Not cheap

Menu changing.

Nice place tucked away with a slight industrial feel. Friendly lady who served us. Had nice coffees with a range of non dairy milk and some cherry and almond cake. Was hoping to try some jackfruit and French toast but currently menu changing so couldn't try some sadly. But hope to visit again when menu sorted 👍

Pros: Hope to see plenty of new vegan options , Very friendly
