Serves meat, vegan options available. A traditional English pub up the road from a restored working Windmill. Part of the Greene King pub chain. Has a separate vegan menu available on the tables. Two outside areas and plenty of seating inside. Vegan dishes include a mushroom and ale pie, a chickpea and sweet potato curry, a burger and a chocolate tart for dessert. Open Mon-Thu 12:00-23:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-00:00, Sun 12:00-22:30.

Top notch

We visited this place whilst out walking in the local area. When we sat down to drink the drinks we ordered at the bar we found a selection of menus, one of them being vegan and vegetarian. The menu items were quite inspiring and therefore we decided to eat here. I had the mushroom and ale pie served with potatoes and broccoli with a vegan gravy while my partner had the chickenless Katsu curry.

The food was excellent and good portion sizes. Both our dishes were very tasty and we scoffed the lot down followed by a couple more pints each. Considering we were going to have a single beer and be on our merry way we stayed and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The staff were very friendly and nice and we will definitely be going back. Due to the good experience we even pointed other people in their direction, that's how to run a god business.
