Nice burger and fries in LI

Really enjoyed the perfect burger and fries here. Not really ever in LI so was a pleasant surprise when there. V indicates vegan options but be aware the chipotle ranch isnt vegan so go with bbq. Toppings of lettuce, onions, pockets, and tomato came on side so build your burger how you prefer. Fries super crispy.

Pros: Home made veggie burgers, Plant based meats (beyond), Crispy fries

Cons: No vegan ranch (not huge deal)

Lots of vegan burgers

I was pleasantly surprised by the various amounts of vegan burgers available here. I had the southwest burger which comes with a small side of bean salad. It also came with two sauces- chipotle aioli or bbq sauce. The aioli is not vegan so make sure to ask about the sauces when ordering. I also ordered a side of fries. Staff was very friendly! Looking forward to trying their other burgers.

Great plant based options if you’re in Hauppauge.

The veggie side used to be called “Build-A-Burger” they’re part of Sexy Salad. What the Veggie Side is trying to do is great. Provide options for vegans, vegetarians, as omnis.
They have a great selection of healthy alternatives and are proactively taking ideas on new dishes.

Pros: Lots of vegan/vegetarian options , Open minded Managment and ownership, Great location

Cons: They aren’t open on the weekends , They don’t have vegan/veggie cheese options yet

This burger is Vegan, and made locally in Calverton at the Stony Brook Incubator. Nice an at The Veggie Side in Hauppauge
