Good vibes & food - Edit
Had the vegan breakfast burrito which was 10/10. Would love some more vegan options here cause what they do have is delicious.

I had the vegan breakfast wrap here. It was pretty good. I also ordered the vegan (& gluten free) peanut butter fudge bar to take out, and that was also good. Both items were tasty, service was nice, although the wrap did take 25 minutes and it wasn’t THAT busy. I would still recommend a stop here though.

2.5 rating - The environment of The Vault was very cool, we loved all the wall art and the different styles of seating. When it came to the food, we were disappointed. I ordered the vegan breakfast wrap and my partner ordered Double B (not vegan), it was okay but unfortunately it lacked seasoning and both of our oat mochas were decent. I really enjoyed the mugs they were in. The price for our entire order came up to 55$, that is really expensive for what we got. I definitely would only go back for coffee only.

I’ve had the food here, usually a salad which was good if overpriced, however since being thrown out for not having proof of vaccination I can’t recommend supporting this business. #Veganuary

Lots of super filling vegan options. Liked it so much went back three times during a short trip. The vegan breakfast wrap is very filling, their BYOB has many vegan options.

Funky Vibe - Edit
The Vault is a restaurant housed in an old bank with funky decor. You order at the counter, take a number, and the food gets brought to your table. While the vegan options are limited, their sandwich board always has a selection that's vegan or can be made vegan. I opted for the veggie sandwich with zucchini, tomato, arugula, marinara, and smoked tofu (omitting the non-vegan pesto). The thin slices of smoked tofu made it feel like I was eating a really good BLT. The sandwiches are big, but you can also add potatoes, a side salad, or soup (which is occasionally vegan). They have a vegan breakfast wrap as well that features scrambled tofu.

Could not make five stars because it's not fully veg I guess, but the vegan breakfast wrap and the muffins were sooo delicious. Also had a chai latte with oat milk, also delicious. We did take out to catch the ferry and it's a good thing we did since it took a few mins for them to cook out breakfast wraps. The wrap was $13, which is not super cheap IMO, but I don't regret it because it was delicious. There's also a little vintage store in the back, and single stall washrooms.

The cafe itself has a very cool vibe but sadly there’s limited vegan options as far as food goes. It’s a good spot to stop for a drink!
