Absolutely delicious food, done well - everything is so tasty it’s hard to choose! Staff are lovely and it’s dog friendly too. Both of my parents aren’t vegan and said they think it’s some of the best food they’ve ever had when going out!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. All freshly made in house, tasty and creatively interesting dishes with decent portion size. Lovely staff and a nice out of town setting. The menu changes with the seasons so it’ll be worth making return journeys if you’re not local.

I love this place and is always worth the 30 minute drive. There is always a friendly welcome and the food is always amazing. It is so lovely to have a wide choice of food and desserts. My vegan friends love it and my non- vegan friends too!

Honestly loved this place. The cafe/building, the staff and the food were all absolutely fantastic. I had the Katsu seitan flatbread, the nicest meal I’ve had in a while. I was sad I hadn’t stayed locally because I would’ve gone back the next day! But I shall definitely be getting back there one day soon. PS thank you so much for the recommendations of places to visit, we had a great time😄

We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon enroute to the seaside. Easy to find, easy to park. Service with a smile. Lovely building. Two of us both had the sietan flat bread the other two a burger. The flat bread didn't look big but I struggled to finish it. Everyone enjoyed their food and the great coffee and hot chocolate. I would definitely go back - I would definitely check the need to book if I was planning going back a different day.

We had a lovely lunch here today. Can highly recommend for delicious good-value plant-based food, and the menu is varied with some innovative options. The staff were friendly and made us all feel very welcome, including the toddler In our party 😊 He enjoyed the ice cream that was included with his meal from the kids' menu.

This place is so cute and has very tasty food. Came for brunch, the flatbreads are great and homemade and the servings were very large. I also had a hot chocolate which was delicious. The staff are so friendly. They occasionally open for dinners/events so make sure to check out their socials.

As a vegan on holiday with my non-vegan family, we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The owners were immediately very welcoming and happy to talk with us. The breakfast and lunch menus have a diverse array of options. Opting for the Pakora Trio and Strapatsada, sharing between myself and my dad. They were incredibly flavourful and evidently fresh. The homemade tea-cake for the less adventurous in my family went down a treat, as did the hot drinks. Service was fast and they were very accomodating. If I am ever in the area again, I will be going. Definitely worth a detour for anyone finding themselves in Yorkshire.

The fabulous North East of England continues to impress. This is a magical place where you will be made to feel utterly welcome. A plant-based menu awaits in a former railway station culled by the Tories and still in a constituency under Tory rule. Do people ever learn? The menu is extensive and it was difficult to nail down an order. We went for the mushroom gyros and the whipped feta and sun dried tomato on homemade flat breads. Both excellent., filling and delectable. Their house wine is ethical, their cakes are iconic and the whole setting is legendary. Why have I not visited before? Already planning a return for their renowned breakfast menu.

I love this cafe! - Edit
This was previously the green apple cafe and bistro. My favourite cafe in the area. This is the same cafe but with new owners taken over recently. The menu is the same and very good. Lots of delicious options all vegan. The intention is to keep the cafe fully plant based and source ethical products lovely new owners nice to see it carrying on.

Had a lovely lunch to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. Food was really lovely as were the staff. We had buffalo cauliflower wings, Bombay strudel and the Mediterranean tart. The chips are pre seasoned. Lots of choice. The place had a lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly
