Messed up twice:( - Edit
We ordered a pizza vegan with vegan cheese (they didnt have impossible btw) and they brought out one with anchovies instead of artichokes. We waited 20-30 mins for a new one and this time they put pesto on it (which isnt vegan). At that point everyone else was done eating so they just brought me an arugula salad which was fine but sad.

Wow their cheese is so good! - Edit
So they don't really have any premade options. But their vegan cheese is so good it doesn't matter! The vegetables are so fresh and I really enjoyed the lemonade. Recommend for a great pizza date night. Fyi the deep dish is vegetarian not vegan (butter in crust)

Could be better - Edit
Pretty on the outside, loud on the inside- sit upstairs if you want to have a conversation. Old beautiful cavernous space, a former bank I believe. Anyhow, food choices were minimal. The appetizer small or large plates of broccolini or cauliflower were the most exciting honestly. I had a veg hero sandwich- $12- the toasting made it so good. When i asked for vegan cheese to sub for regular it was an added $2. This was annoying since they have veg cheese available for pizza, right?
Read morePros: Minimal pros except it's a nice building.
Cons: Few options besides pizza and a couple veg apps

Great ambiance for date night or family dinner - Edit
Located in a former bank, the Star on Park (part of local chain with Little Star) has maintained its vault door, high ceilings, and feeling of early-20th-century luxury. Despite this upscale vibe and full bar making it a good spot for dates or groups of adults, they're also fully family-friendly, with high chairs, crayons and coloring sheets, and changing tables in the bathrooms. They also offer a private room upstairs for parties, good for kids and adults alike.
Read moreAlthough I'm very frustrated as a vegan that they make their deep-dish pizzas with butter in the crust, the thin-crust version is quite good, with Follow Your Heart cheese and a pretty good topping selection. And they continue to expand vegan choices, recently bringing in Impossible meat.
Pros: Dog and kid friendly, Great service and ambiance, Happy Hour and other specials
Cons: Could use a few more vegan items like pesto, Can be expensive if you don't order carefully
