Affordable, fun, build-your-own

There's more indoor seating than appears at Tacobar, but it's a pretty casual place and if you go during the lunch rush you may have to stand in line for a while to order. Definitely recommend grabbing an outdoor table if it's a nice day to do a bit of people watching. Bring your own container if you can to take to-go since they use plastic boxes.

The manager and staff are very nice and I hope they'll add more vegan listings on the menu -- there are plenty but you currently have to specify. Ask for fried plantains instead of meat. Unfortunately the rice is *not vegetarian* so watch out for that, but the rest of the bar is filled with fresh veggies and you have plenty to fill tacos with. Definitely recommend the mango pico de gallo! It is more fresh and varied than Chipotle, and it's nice to support a local business. They include a handful of chips and salsa with a taco order, and the prices are affordable.

Pros: Fresh veggies, Nice staff, Cheap lunch options

Cons: Rice contains chicken, Lacking vegan items on menu

Come hungry.

Vegetarian items are available and can easily be made vegan by excluding the dairy products. Probs are huge, so come here with good appetite.

I really enjoyed the flexibility of the build your own bowl, burrito, or tacos.

The staff was super friendly and 100% willing to sub out meat with fried plantains. Yum! It was fun to watch them make the tortillas fresh right in front of you - only fat source used is corn oil. There were tons of fixings to chose from and no limit to the number you could pick. This place is like Chipotle in the way that you can see everything but there are way more options and endless combinations of flavors to play with. Super yummy! Can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Lots of vegan options. , Super friendly staff. , Big portions.

Cons: No vegan cheese or meat alternatives.
