Good ice cream - Edit
It’s a popular place. They sell also take away food like a kind of wrap or Hot Dog. The little ice cream was totally enough.

Amazing hidden gem - Edit
Food was amazing here! They have many different options of the local rotti/rolls with vegan filling (soy filling). Everything we had was incredibly tasty. The ice cream was a little too sweet for my taste, but that differs from person to person I guess. Very cheap and good! Totally recommend!

Amazing find - Edit
Soya rolls and pancakes are delicious, definitely stock up on some snacks for your day in Kandy! So cheap too.
Read moreFantastic to be able to get a ‘mr whippy’ style ice cream in either chocolate, vanilla or Strawberry (or mix all three!!)
It’s a kiosk type venue with benches outside next to the YMCA - so not a sit-down place. A must-visit for any vegan in Kandy.

Wow - don’t let appearances deter you! - Edit
So his place looks a little shabby, and it’s up some steep stairs, when you get there it’s a little lack lustre, and very plain.
Read moreEat everything! The food is amazing!
I read some of the other reviews that said don’t get pink ice cream, we’ll I ended up with the swirl of vanilla, choc & strawberry and it was amazing! I thought it would melt into a runny mess within 60 seconds, but it didn’t.
I also got a samosa, which was Devine (about 5-6 out of 10 on the chilli scale) and I got a roti(about 8 out of 10 chilli) and I got a coconut pancake - delicious! And it cost a respectable 750rp
Will definitely go back!

Don't get the strawberry - Edit
I tried the chocolate and strawberry mixed, the chocolate was okay, the strawberry was super weird, almost tasted salty. I highly recommend not ordering the strawberry. Overall not the best ice cream but it's vegan and in Sri Lanka so 4/5 stars.

Must try but not healthy - Edit
I had a “not dog”, an ice cream and a burger. Everything tasted good, but the food was not really healthy. Though, I think it is a must try just out of curiosity. Good for a quick bite.

Ice Cream For Breakfast - Edit
We were up early to secure train tickets for a 5 hour journey, on our way back to the hotel we detoured to this place. From a previous review, I knew they also did savouries so we grabbed 2 of each to take with us later on the train, we both went for the chocolate ice cream which we had to eat quick in the early morning heat. It was delicious, wish we'd found it before we were leaving Kandy. As for the savoury goods we had them at different intervals on our journey, they pack a little heat spice wise but were really great and really cheap.

SOY Delicious! - Edit
This was the first vegan ice cream shop I found in Sri Lanka and I’m so happy I did. I’m cycling around the country so this was the boost I needed! I went here twice and tried the tri-color and chocolate swirl (chocolate is the best). They have some good samosas too (if you like spicy, definitely worth trying).

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very cheap

Best vegan soft serves - Edit
Amazing vegan find. I was so happy to finally find a 100 percent plant based establishment after being in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks. So many vegan savoury snacks to pick from ranging prices between 70 - 120 rupees. They are all
Read moreAt the front counter ready made but I wouldn’t be worried if they had been sitting there long as the restaurant is really busy and full of locals with a quick turn over so they are constantly making fresh product. I tried the Chinese roll and veg salad bun and was so impressed and pleased with what I got. I wanted it all but I knew I had to leave room for the main event “the soft serve” and let me tell you it took the show!! The most amazing and delicious soft serve I’ve had ever!! Comes with chocolate and strawberry but if you ask you can get all one flavour. You can tell it is popular amongst the locals as everyone under the Terrence has one in there hand. So good I left with a second one 😅
Pros: All vegan savoury snacks, Cheap , Soft serves to die for

Excellent value, tasty snacks & fab ice cream! - Edit
This was our first stop after checking in at our hotel. Knowing that all the savoury snacks were vegan-friendly was a huge bonus, and we dug right in with samosas, Chinese rolls and cutlet, followed by two ice creams each - chocolate followed by strawberry.
Read moreI’ve been craving samosas, having seen so many street vendors selling them, but I’ve not wanted to take the risk that they might not be vegan-friendly. These were large and very tasty. The Chinese roll was more like a croquette, but as soon as I got past the fact that it was not what I was expecting, I was actually very happy with our selection. The cutlet was also really good!
The ice creams stole the show, and were clearly very popular with the other customers who were sitting on the covered terrace area outside. Chocolate was my favourite, but the strawberry was fab too! Hoping to try the vanilla if they have some the next time we visit.
Pros: Excellent value for money, Fab ice cream, Loads of savoury snacks

Delicious and cheap! - Edit
I went a bit overboard and bought more than I had planned because I was so excited by all the snacks! The soy roti is fairly spicy, the cutlet was pretty filling and the samosa’s heavy. I also had an ice cream. Prices range from 70 LKR to 120 LKR for savoury snacks.

A must visit in Kandy - fully vegan spot within walking distance to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Great soft serve and good snack options with soya protein (we had the bun which was very tasty). Clean and friendly, as well as very cheap.

The BEST samosas ever! - Edit
The restaurant is more like a take away place with a quite a bit of space to sit outside, but it's amazing. They offer only vegan products which is not very common in Sri Lanka. While eating, we got into a long pleasant conversation with the owner of the place in which he explained us how he got to the idea of beginning the restaurant etc., very kind of humble man.

Delicious coconut filled pancakes!! - Edit
We had lunch here which consisted of a tasty samosa and a stuffed roti along with a chocolate soy milk - these were all really good. This was followed by an incredible soy icecream sundae with Oreos, peanut brittle and chocolate straws amongst the icecream - incredible!! We also took away some of the coconut filled pancakes and these were possibly the best of all. All of these vegan treats were recommended and explained in great English by the very helpful owner. Amazing place well worth the visit!

One of the Best - Edit
This place is amazing in its simplicity and eating experience. It is only a counter where you order and a scattering of tables and chairs on the second floor deck where you carry your plate to eat.
