Vegan Cupcakes in an Unassuming Place - Edit
Off of the busy, bustling 28th Street, and a few streets down, lies a small, unassuming bakery. The Salted Cupcake is a bakery that is to be commended for its commitment to offering vegan cupcakes. The fun of the Salted Cupcake is the constantly rotating menu of seasonal cupcakes -- often celebrating the latest holiday or local fad. They always make sure to include a vegan cupcake option.
Read moreThe downside is that it is only one option of vegan cupcake in stock. I love the opportunity of offering a vegan cupcake because this gives me an option to enjoy. However, to rate it higher stars on Happy Cow I find that a bakery needs more vegan options than just one.
That being said, I recommend trying out The Salted Cupcake and enjoying a vegan, hand crafted cupcake. They are always creative and unique in their design. And most of the cupcakes are vegetarian to satiate our vegetarian, Happy Cow friends.
Pros: Always has a vegan option, Many vegetarian options, Rotating menu keeps things unique
Cons: Not entirely vegan, Only one vegan option at a time
