Tried it for lunch, had to come back for dinner - Edit
A vegan friend of mine recommended this place on my last full day visiting Fort Lauderdale, and I'm devastated that I didn't know about it from the beginning of my trip. Everything about the experience, not just the cruelty-free food, felt fueled by positivity. The staff, for example, including one of the chef-founders, went out of their way to greet me and make me feel welcome, and recognized me when I came back later in the day.
Read moreAnd as for why I had to come back: the food is just bursting with flavor. My dad, an omnivore, said the ribs were as tasty as any real-pork ribs he's ever had. The wings were hardy and delicious as well - not just the same brand of plant-based chick'n that so many restaurants order and use for their own wings and tenders - and the cheese in the chick'n quesadilla had some of the best consistency of a plant-base melty cheese I've had. This is true comfort food. It does come in on the pricey side, but no more than the mark-up for other all-vegan restaurants, and this one doesn't have all the pretensions that many other new vegan spots do - it feels like a real neighborhood hole-in-the-wall gem, not taking itself too seriously, but cooking seriously good food.

In town for The Orange Bowl and looking for a good vegan lunch and food for our tailgate at the game. My research turned up a lot of positive reviews for The Rabbit Hole. I have to say the reviews were right. This place was incredible! We had The Double Dutch-Cajun Chicken Pasta and The Daring Dragon" Chicken Stir Fry. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful. For our tailgate, we had a large order of the “wings” with several different sauces. Oh my goodness were they good. Perfect for our tailgate and they were all eaten. I won’t hesitate to recommend this great little spot and we will be back in the future.

This place is actually incredible. Super nice staff and amazing food. Everything was perfectly seasoned and huge portion sizes! I love comfort food and this was maybe the best vegan comfort food I've ever had. You'd be doing yourself a serious disservice by not eating here.

Hubs had the dry rub garlic parmesan wyngs, which had great flavor and texture.
I had “The Last Dragon” Pepper Steak Stir Fry, which was also excellent with just the right amount of sauce so you could still taste the individual items/flavors.
We didn’t have time to grab dessert but the table next to us were overheard talking about how good the cookies and birthday cake were!

I travel significantly with my job. I’ve eaten at Vegan restaurants across the country. This small local spot in an unassuming strip mall as absolutely fabulous. The staff greets you with a smile. The Chef himself comes out to check on you and the food quality is second to none. I have found my new “go-to” spot when visiting S FL from my home in Nashville.

Customer service is amazing: the guy who helped me as soon as I got in, gave me the best advice and helped me choose my meal based on my preferences, since their menu is huge. So when the food came (very promptly) I was in heaven… I had honey garlic parmesan wings with seasoned fries and a garlic aioli dip. It was all super delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had half and took half home as the portion was very generous.

It was my first visit here and I was greeted with so much love! The energy in the place matched the energy in the food! I had the rib platter and substituted the corn for baked beans. I also had the corn bread and soursop passion fruit drink, all of this was fire 🔥. Definitely recommend a visit here if your looking for soul food options, they even blessed me with some cookies for my first visit thanks Rabbit 🐇 Hole for the vibez and delicious food! 🖤

We're on vacation and found this spot for me, but everyone wanted to give vegan a try when they saw my amazing food. I got the Surf n' Turf, and my friend got the Chick'n quesadilla. We topped it off with the Reese's Peanut Butter Tart that was to die for! I wish we had a spot like this at home!!

Read moreWe ordered the ‘smoke in the woods’ Southern BBQ platter, the ribs were on point !! Jerk Chicken & ‘hunan heat’ wok sautéed broccoli.
Everything was fresh and really really tasty, well worth a visit !
Dessert was a little disappointing, ordered the chocolate cake, very small for the price (forgot to get a pic) and tasted like a microwave choc pot.

AWESOME vegan comfort food! A must visit place! - Edit
No other vegan restaurant in Broward County, Florida has THIS many vegan entrees and choices. I know, I check this out all the time. I like to go out to vegan places that can offer me dishes I don't make at home already. It's pretty difficult to find because the vegan restaurant industry is just taking off and most have limited menus and offerings that tend to stay around the same thing. But The Rabbit Hole has a HUGE menu of many, many vegan choices. Very friendly service, too. Check out the menu before you go, you'll have a difficult time making a choice, really. We LOVED the food we had. The only drawback is this is a tiny place inside so count on dining at the outside sidewalk tables. If you don't like heat like me, not the ideal situation. But GO TO THIS PLACE for the amazing food and the friendly service. Do takeout if you don't want to sit there. I really REALLY hope this place does well and eventually moves to a larger location with an actual dining room. Support this excellent vegan restaurant, help them grow!!!!!!
