Prohibition cafe - Edit
After reading previous reviews on here I visited for lunch with a friend. This is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The cutlery had dust on, tables covered in crumbs and the glasses were also filthy. Such a shame as there are so few vegan friendly places to eat in Romford. I won't be visiting again.

Sorry to hear you was not happy with us , it's interesting to see your perspective considering we have a 5 star hygiene rating and we clean daily and our colleagues check tables before and after service .
Thank you for letting us know and we will look into it .

This isn't a pay what you rate the food cafe, the description is wrong on the main page.
All food is priced
anyway, nice place, will be back for the Sunday veg roast
Pros: good veg options

great tasting food in friendly atmosphere. - Edit
Obviously vegan and veggie food is hard to find in Romford.
This place is great, relaxed and cosy. We chatted with the owner who was very friendly and talked a out plans to extend the (vegan) menu.
We had the vegan burgers. I've eaten vegan food in restaurants all over london and in a lot of countries.
These vegan burgers were the best i have had, better than the well known Umami burgers in Los Angeles.
They were home made, sumptuous and tasty and very filling and if this is any indication of the other vegan fare on offer here, we will be back. recommended.
Pros: nice atmosphere, relaxed, bohemian vibes with grea
Cons: Limited veggie and vegan menu.
