The Pot - Calle 90

I created my one delicious bowl of food at this small, outdoor seating restaurant.

I ordered brown rice, lentils, falafel balls, a chickpea salad and kale salad. all were very tasty.

The covered outdoor seating will protect you from the sun and rain.

I love Pot Veggie and try to go at least once a week. The price is amazing and even my meat-loving friends prefer it over non-vegan restaurants

This is a great option (and one of the only vegan ones) in this part of the city. They trademark themselves as "vegan" which is bold for Colombia, and i think it has paid off because the place is busy.

You choose from various options for the base of the bowl, the "veggies", toppings, garnish and so on.. Its around 16,000 COP with water (approx. 5.50USD).

I would only suggest for them to have a tray table for people to put their trays and used dishes because the place is so packed that i think it requires it...

This place is kind of like a Indian/Thai version of Chipotle! You pick your starch (jasmine rice, brown rice, or rice noodles), then you pick your protein, a veggie side, a salad, and a topping! I had brown rice with Indian tofu/spinach, a side of eggplants, and a beet salad with sesame seeds on top. Everything is vegan and delicious. Prices are fair and the portions are very good and filling... I even had leftovers! It was very busy during lunch, but the line moves quickly. I will definitely be going back!
