Great Juice Bar

I love this place! My family and I have been several times and we always receive great service. They are kind and very accommodating. The food is flavorful and the head chef makes everything from scratch! Highly recommended

Get Off Route 80 and enjoy Danville and PB&J

We were delighted to find this vegan option in the middle of a long drive between NJ and Ohio. We tried the Buffalo Bleu Cheeze Burger and the Cheezesteak sandwiches. Both were very tasty and slightly different than standard vegan sandwich offerings. Our kids got the pancakes and they tasted just like diner pancakes! It was our first time trying Counterpoint Kombucha, and we enjoyed both the Blackberry and Beet & Berries flavors. As if it couldn't get any better, they get their desserts from Vegan Treats. The cream-filled donut and vegan cannoli hit the spot.

They had nice indoor seating and one table outside. It is worth contacting them about their hours as they seem to have changed recently. Danville was a wonderful town to walk around in too.

Update: This is our go-to place when we travel route 80 to visit relatives. Be sure to pick up some Unbeetible burgers from their freezer to take home with you.

Delicious and unique

I love that their sandwiches are made with beets and not processed products. They clearly take time to add delicious flavors. I had the El GBT, which is like a BLT, I've had it before and love it. I've also tried the Rueben, which is good, but the blt is so so so good. The tiramisu is also so amazing. I've been a vegan for so long so I've never had real tiramisu so I can compare but it's so good that I get it every time I go. I've also tried their other baked goods and their good as well, but I crave the tiramisu. #Veganuary #Veganuary

New and Improved!

I used to come here when I lived nearby a few years ago and was always disappointed and stopped going. When I tried them again recently, everything was absolutely exceptional! I’m not sure if there’s a new owner or what, but they are doing it right!! It is pricey but absolutely delicious. Try the breakfast sammy and cannolis.

Creative Reuben

I loved the beet based burger used in the Reuben. Had it for lunch with earl gray and vanilla oat milk tea on a cold rainy day

Woo hoo! This place is amazing!

Cannot believe we found this place in Danville—we detoured to get here but it was well worth it. Everything was fresh and tasty. We live two hours from here but I would probably drive back just to eat sometime. Had a Ruben and a burger with Buffalo sauce onions and blue cheez. Dessert cupcake was phenomenal. Would like to see something come with sandwiches for price (a couple chips or even a pickle)

Pros: Fresh food, Servers were so friendly , Everything was delicious

Cons: Serving sizes a little small, Nothing comes with sandwiches

Great Vegan Find!

So happy to find this place in what seems like a middle of nowhere town. Really enjoyed the food! Loved the desserts too!

Dance party vegan awesomeness

First of all, when I walk in I want to throw down my purse, take off my jacket and booty shake all the way to the register. But I don’t come here to twerk and embarrass myself, I come here for the food. Cuz… 🤤🤤🤤 when I first heard of this place I thought it was a peanut butter and jelly bar (not a bad concept), but at the fair this year I learned they are a vegan place (yaaaasss, finally!!!) love love love it. Yes, it’s expensive, but like eating good ain’t cheap, ya know? The burrito has my carnivore husband salivating and the banana bread French toast makes my kids quiet for 10mins while they stuff their faces (peace and quiet?-priceless). I encourage everyone to give it a try. And maybe, best of all, an inclusive awesome place for all to feel welcome. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🌱🌱

I’m so disappointed this place will be closing. It was one of the few places I could go around this small area and get a fully plant based experience

Plant based whole food that’s me! And this is my fav place while traveling!

This place has exceptional plant based burgers and the “brewberry drink” is a must try! The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful to customers.

Pros: Great plant based burgers!

Cons: Too far away from me!

Hidden gem in an area with very little vegan options

We were so jazzed to find this place in the middle of Pennsylvania! The food was really good and the staff amazingly nice. My husband got the tofu egg, sossage, & Cheeze on an everything bagel. I got the Breakfast Bowl with hash brown base topped with Cheeze, Brussels sprouts, red onions, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, skin-on yam, cauliflower. Then we both got the Brewberry frozen smoothie (banana, blueberry, espresso shots, vanilla) and it was fabulous!

We got cannolis and cupcakes to go and can’t wait to try them all. We tried the chocolate covered cannoli and it is to die for!!

Edit: Sorry. One star lost because the cupcakes are hard as a rock!! The frosting is good though.

Zero stars; food is not good

I don’t understand all the rave reviews on their food. Was I just there on a terrible food day? The Seitan Knots are horrible; dry, no flavor, just sits hard in the stomach. I’ve no idea how they’re supposed to be “wings” as the menu has the listed. The burger was terrible as well. It tasted just like yuck. I tried the burger patty alone and I tried the beet thing alone incase it was one of them I didn’t like, but the whole thing just wasn’t edible. Wound up throwing away the food.

It did seem like a clean establishment, bathroom was stocked with the necessities. Unnecessary music playing, but I think most people enjoy that kind of thing.

Pros: Clean

Cons: ipad payment thing, food

Very good!

We were in the area for an appointment so we decided to look up vegan restaurants and we decided to come here. We got the seitan knots, the Mac, and the “egg and cheese” bagel. We also got 3 smoothies. Everything was delicious! The mac was one of the best vegan macs I’ve had. Very wide variety of food to choose from and desserts. We also got a cupcake. Delicious!

The environment inside was nice and lighthearted and everyone was very friendly. Wish we lived closer so our visits could be more frequent! Definitely recommend.

Delicious and Interesting Food

I (vegan for 1 year) came here for the first time with my not at all vegan mother and she enjoyed her meal so much she was eating scraps off my plate. I had the Mac Daddy burger which looked great to eat, was delicious and was a nice size. Mom had the baked potato soup (I had a taste), which was seasoned so nicely, and also the black coffee burger (also had a bite), which also looked really nice and tasted even better. She especially enjoyed the beet bacon and “buttermilk” ranch. It was an interesting burger and all the flavors really worked together. The restaurant itself is really cozy and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful with questions. The next time I am close by I will be going back. Such a gem of a place. #Veganuary

Pros: 100% vegan, Gluten free options, Great variety of interesting options

Missed the mark

I was very happy to see a plant-based restaurant in Danville. We got three items and they were close to being good, but just slightly missed the mark.

“The Buddha Veggie Bowl: greens, roasted vegetables, avocado, hummus drizzle.”
The greens were fresh and plentiful. The vegetables were more steamed than roasted, didn’t have that roasted flavor. There wasn’t a lot of seasoning on the vegetables and they were slightly bland. The hummus drizzle was good, but could’ve used more. The quinoa was ok.

“The Cheezesteak sandwich with seitan , mushrooms, onions and peppers.”
I expected to see chunks of seitan and pieces of onions and peppers and mushrooms. As it was, it was like a chicken/ham/tuna salad and slightly mushy. Where are all of those beautiful vegetables that were promised? The flavor was good. Just missed the mark on the texture.

“The falafel sandwich: greens, tomato and buttermilk ranch.”
The flavor of the sandwich was OK, but I would never call that a falafel. I’m wondering if I got the right sandwich? Again, the flavor was good and we ate it, but I wouldn’t call that a falafel.

Pros: Plant-based option!

Awesome place and delicious food

The Papa's Plate was incredible and really hit the spot, especially paired with the sunrise juice. The beet bakin is a great substitute for more traditional fake meats, and is honestly way better. Love that we can also grab a bottle of kombucha to go. Super friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

What a great place to eat and be in.

We ate here on 8/16 for lunch. The place keeps getting better each time we've visited. I am deeply grateful that PB & J continues to exist and flourish as a completely plant-based eatery. If you are anywhere near Danville, you must stop in and have a delicious meal.

Keeps Getting Better!

We have been frequenting the PB&J Bar monthly since opening a little over a year ago! This place keeps improving with each visit. Back in early 2020 when they opened I would have considered the PB&J Bar mediocre. A year in they really improved their game and is a must visit restaurant wether you are an omnivore or carnivore!

Parking is limited on Mill Street. There are two parking lots on either side of Mill Street. Their located on Jacobs Alley and Rooney Ave. Either lot is less than a minute walk and the meters take quarters!

Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff

Black Coffee Burger!???!!!

While passing through PA, stopped by this little place for some curbside pickup. Saw the Black Coffee Burger on the menu and was like, “wtf!?” and decided “I’ve gotta try this!” So I did... I was not disappointed. The burger was fantastic! It was subtle enough I’m sure if I really tasted the coffee, but the thing was packed with flavor! This may be a contender for my favorite burger in the country along w/ another east coast eatery’s. East coast, y’all are doing something right here!

Pros: Amazing burger!
