Exceptional fries and great food - Edit
Went here twice during our visit. First time I had the Aztec soup which was really tasty. Boyfriend had the (humungous plate of) hummus which came with a stodgy pitta, but the hummus was nice. We shared some garlic fries which were to die for. Next day we both had the vegan burger - really tasty. My Mimosa was flat, so I'd stick to the beer next time.

Cockroach in vegan burger! - Edit
There was a huge dead cockroach in my vegan burger. Please check your food if eating here. Waitress offered me something else off menu but we left without paying as thought I was going to be sick. I hope it’s a one off but this can make people really sick. The aubergine starter was nice but hope that didn’t have bugs in it!

I liked the food and the fact that it was all correctly labeled. The falafel wrap was a bit messy to eat as it wasn’t properly wrapped, but the falafel itself was good. Hummus and tahini are also good too.

Read moreI ordered hummus with mushrooms and yucca fries, but the hummus came with bread so it was slightly more stodgy than I had expected but all super tasty. I wish I'd had space for a vegan burger here as it sounded great.
It's a really cool place with friendly staff.

Got the vegan burger which comes with fries. Burger was really good! It's a huge burger and very filling with a decent portion of garlic, homemade fries. Reasonably priced given the size of the portion.

The place was stylish and different from other restaurants we went to nearby. Vegan and vegetarian options were clearly marked on the menu and there were quite a few of them. I ordered the roasted eggplant as an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the vegan burger for the main course, but that was just okay. I would be interested to try more of their vegan options.

So thankful for this restaurant in monteverde with abundant vegan options and a mindfulness about various diets. The portion sizes were generous! Yucca fries were amazing along with the vegan burger. Vegan casado was also tasty. The azteca soup was very flavorful and avocado added a nice richness.

Wonderful! Between two of us we ordered three appetisers: the aztec soup, the orange soup and the hummus with mushrooms. Both soups were very flavourful, and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. However the star of the show was the warm pita bread that came with the hummus.

We had the vegan burger, the shawarma and a dessert. The burger was nice but nothing special for this price. I loved the shawarma and the fries though! the shawarma with falafel was really rich in taste and the fries came with parsely and garlic.

Had the vegan burger. It was pretty big and came with fries but the bun felt a bit raw and under cooked. Can’t say it was tasty but it did the job.

A lot of vegan options to choose from and the place is beautiful. However the service was quite slow and the staff not very friendly. We ordered as appetizers hummus, which was okay and roasted eggplant, which did not taste good. The vegan burger we ordered as main course was nice.

I ordered the tomato soup vegan...it was suppose to have avocado too but it ended up coming without avocado and had cheese chunks inside. Luckily they were chunks so I just picked them out. I never do this but being in a foreign country I’m more understanding of them learning still about what being Vegan is.
