More Than Happy to Accommodate

Generally, vegan lunch options in Dawlish are pretty limited. But, that doesn't make this spot any less lovely. The weather was nice so we were able to sit in the outside seating area with our dog (Rosie).
Although the menu is not labelled super clearly, you can deduct the options and staff were clear and helpful when ordering. For drinks, we had two Chai Lattes (nicely sweet) and a Flat White, all with oat milk (which was free), and they each came with a Biscoff biscuit which was a nice surprise.
For food, we had the Vegetable Bean Chilli Baked Potato which had a decent spice level and flavour, with a nice, soft potato. We also had the Plant Based Mozzarella, hummus, and peppers panini which was very tasty. The panini was nicely filled and crispy, and the sweetness of the peppers was a nice addition.
Some of the options automatically come with a side salad and coleslaw, so (being skeptical of whether the coleslaw was vegan) we asked when ordering. The staff informed us that it was not, and so kindly offered to replace it with some crisps (which you can normally pay £1.25 extra) for no extra charge. My only con would be that the side salad was a plain, and could have done with some sort of dressing, but other than that, everything tasted great.
After that, we decided to try the milkshakes they offer, so we ordered one vanilla and one chocolate. Although they had run out of vegan cream, they kindly gave us a cookie dough NOMO chocolate bunny as replacement! It was very exciting when they arrived! The milkshakes themselves both had a lovely flavour (especially the chocolate), with a smooth and creamy texture, not very thick though, but still very much enjoyed.
Overall a very nice and accommodating café, with good (if few) vegan options.

Has Vegan & Vegetarian options across the menu and alternative milks, great vegan cakes and afternoon tea with vegan scone available too. .

Set in a wonderful 1717 building with working water wheel set in a courtyard garden. Dog Friendly with treats for them too.
Try the vegan pesto, mozzarella & tomato panini, also had cornation chickpea filling on daily special too.

Pros: Great service
