Only came for a drink but the menu looks decent and based off the tea it seems good value for money (3 cups from one pot) and the mugs are cool!

I really struggled to get a light lunch in the area and came across this. I just ordered hummus but it was nice and did the job. The staff were very friendly.

Had the smoked tofu with JD Tennessee glaze and edamame beans. It tasted okay but the tofu was silken tofu and didn’t have a great deal of flavour.

2 stars seeing as a non-vegan place can get a max of 4 stars on the app even if it’s fantastic. Had potential but the tofu and pie were both served with soggy soft sweet potato fries and the tofu dish in general was quite oily.

Very good food and service. I had the vegan smoked tofu with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, salad, and sweet potato fries. Tofu was soft and smoky and the portion was huge! Enjoyed the meal here. Reservation is recommended for dinner, as can be quite busy.

Awesome vegan options and staff - Edit
Waiter misheard our order and because we had ordered mostly vegan options came back to double check the misheard bit showing they care about dietary requirements. Pie was absolutely the best pie I ever had and chips and fries and side vegetables were awesome too.

Was super excited to see this restaurant had a vegan pie option however it was from the freezer, unseasoned and just potatoes and pastry making it very dry despite being undercooked. Veg was unseasoned but fries were nice. Wouldn’t recommend for a vegan option.

We really enjoyed the food here and were pleased to have a couple of options. We noticed there were more options than they marked out on the menu and think they’ve missed a trick there. The staff were happy to be flexible with the dishes.

I popped in for breakfast. Just a few small amendments would make this a good vegan venue, e.g. non-dairy spread, or nut butter. I had the veggie sausage sandwich, which was ok but nothing special.

A very nice cosy restaurant and bar. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options to chose from which made us very happy, I had the smoked tofu which I throughly enjoyed and my girlfriend had the falafel burger which she loved. We would return!

Visited here yesterday and had the Vegan pie. This was a root vegetable pie with sweet potato fries and tender stem broccoli and green beans drizzled with olive oil. Really tasty and filling.

We had a veggie burger (halloumi and falafel), and a vegan burger (portobello mushroom). The portion sizes were good and the option to swap to vegan coleslaw was appreciated. We also had a soy vanilla latte and a mocktail, both of which were very nice. I think the menu was good for veggies but the vegan options could be improved, a lot of the veggie options involved cheese and if there was a way t remove these and broaden the vegan menu it would be good. The vegan symbol was also very close to the veggie one which made it a little difficult to distinguish.

Ordered the smoked tofu (looked like the only vegan/GF item). Got plain, greasy, fried tofu - NOT smoked. Staff said, yes, it IS smoked. Side salad that came with the tofu had rotting pieces of lettuce amidst some fresh lettuce. My friend (not vegetarian) ordered chicken salad. Super greasy, not much lettuce. Disappointing!

Bowness in Windermere has very few vegan options so once i discovered The Magic Roundabout, i was very happy. They have quite a few vegetarian options which they can make vegan. I've twice had the veggie full english breakfast. Its very generous and delicious. The falafel burger is also very good. Staff are friendly, its clean and good food.
