Burrito and nachos!

What an attractive little place in an old train station! Love the vibe and the decor and our server was incredibly helpful.

The menu says the beans aren’t veg, but our server says they do actually make separate vegan beans, so they whipped us up a lovely batch of loaded nachos and I got a burrito full of marvelous vegetables.

So yeah, this place is more accommodating than the menu would lead one to believe.

Gendered multi-occupancy bathrooms.

Pros: Vibe, Staff, Tasty food

Vegan options - add to the tofu scramble

Cool, hipster vibe with great food and service. At first it looks like there aren’t that many vegan options, but I got the tofu scramble with vegan sausage and potatoes and added steamed greens and veggie chili and had the mushroom gravy on the side and it was all excellent and I got to take 1/2 home since the portions were big enough. The buckwheat pancake was fabulous! The service was top notch, helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. The music was fun and the whole atmosphere was upbeat and fun!

Misleadingly vegan-friendly

The menu seemed to have some options that were labeled as vegetarian friendly, but only at the cost of removing key components. Ordered the veggie fajitas without cheese or sour cream, but the black beans had bacon, which were served on top of white rice on the side. The beans were in other vegetarian dishes as well, so would have needed to been removed in order to make the meal plant-based. Very fortunate we did not order a burrito where the beans would have been mixed in with the veggies. Overall, not worth it.

Pros: Nice servers and ambience

Cons: Lack of transparency about vegetarian options, Cost doesn’t reflect the omissions from entrees
