A truly forgettable experience 🥲 - Edit
Two stars, but just for some of the food 🍲 Some dishes are great, others are good, while some are bad. Service and atmosphere are not good at all.

Tropical Salad was amazing! Loads of fresh veggies, a delicious, well balanced sauce, heaps of peanuts and delicious mock meat. 🥗
V-Wings was so bad, I took one bite and threw the rest away. It’s a stick of mushroom or tofu surrounded by minced mushroom and beancurd, breaded, then fried. It was swimming in oil, wasn’t warm or crispy, and tasted like it was prepared earlier in the day and then reheated in the fryer to be served. Hated it, especially for SG$6.8.
Now to the service and atmosphere… I had a reservation but it was forgotten - no problem, can happen. So I waited 20 minutes for my table to be free. Sat down, having had enough time to decide what I want to order. No one came and took my order, after 15 minutes of sitting and trying to get a staffs attention, I was told that I need to order at the counter - why didn’t you tell me when I sat down? You then order at the counter, get a buzzer, wait for it to go off and go get your own food and walk it to your table. There’s also a station where you have to get your cutlery. There is basically no service at all. This makes the place feel more like a fast food restaurant than an actual, top rated restaurant. I won’t be back, especially because of the rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere.

Nice sit-down place that is still reasonably priced. We got the special banh mi with OMNI meat and it was delicous. I also am happy it came with a small serving of the Royal Spicy soup, which I lovveed. We also got the BBQ delight bowl, and the "pork" in it was delicious!

Royal spicy pho was awesome. Definitely coming back again. Summer roll was good as well with peanut sauce. If there were table tissue would have been good. Also hope for online ordering system to cut the queue time.

Dumplings side were small and nothing special and pricey at 5.80 for 4 pcs.
I'mma stick to pho on this one.
Vietnamese delight consisting of rice
noodles,thinly sliced carrots, mint leaves
with grilled mushroom which were so good and summer rolls. Came with a mildly spicy soup used to mix with the salad. 5*

Vegan Vietnamese Cuisine - Edit
Very popular fully vegan Vietnamese eatery, located near Somerset MRT. All menu items can be prepared allium-free upon request, except the Premium Pho available. Everything tastes great; hard to pick a favourite! They’ve most recently introduced a Sun Rice dish featuring Taiwanese Plant Egg and Meat Zero Mince, which tasted reminiscent of Thai Pad Kra Pao! Hope they can introduce even more new Vietnamese dishes (e.g. 'egg' coffee, tomato tofu stir-fry, etc)~ Note that the eatery is associated with Supreme Master Ching Hai and there is a TV screen broadcasting religious content.

Although we certainly have eaten tastier Banh Mi and Pho in Vietnam, this place offers very good substitutes. We would recommend going for the standard versions as the fancier ones dont really justify their price. The No Crab Noodles are good as well, but very spicy on their own!

I got a taxi from the other side of the city to try this place - turned up just after 9 and was told they stop taking orders at 9pm, despite closing at 9:30. I would have long since finished my food and been half way back to my hotel by 9:30.

It's a bit un-assuming - hence I just walked by until I noticed I'm at the end of the street *haha* and had to walk back. It's a type of fast food and you have to order at the counter and pay. You get an alarm beeper and the dishes were ready before my friend could sit down after paying - we both had soup and a spring roll. The *KIND PHO* was good despite missing the seitan mentioned in the description. The portions well sized. The spring roll was a bit flat in taste though....

The Royale Spicey Soup is worth 5* alone. It was delicious, the noodles were cooked appropriately, and they actually made it spicy. The banh xeo was OK.
