Pros: Specialite belge, Epicerie

Cons: Gout pas exceptionnel , Ambiance a ameliorer

Very good with some critique

I loved the onion starter and the cheesecake here. The main dish - a schnitzel was a bit meh - fries and salad and sauce were good, but the schnitzel really didnt taste well itself. A schnitzel should be crispy and light not mushy and watery. Also a bit annoying - the staff was extremely slow with everything. It took forever to order and then another century to get the food. The place itself looks nice, really liked the setting.

Great place with decent food!

Great variety of options for food and drink. Between us we had the savoury breakfast and avocado breakfast option, and then cheesecake and a cupcake. The cheesecake was the best vegan cheesecake any of us had ever had! Great variety of drinks too. There's also lots of vegan products for sale which is excellent way to top up on things like vegan choc and seitan. Definitely recommend.
The food was great though not amazing. More seasoning would be good (a problem we had across Brussels!!).

Pros: Variety, Friendly staff, Vegan products/ shop too

Cons: Not enough seasoning

I'll be the judge

Just because you're vegan it doesn't mean you should be allowed to cook. This whole place is like something out of the worse end of the 2000s. I had the boulets sauce Liègeoise. I'm glad they're making Belgian food, but Liège is one of my favourite cities; despite the dearth of vegan restaurants there they do not deserve this disservice. The plate costs 18€ and comes with precisely one forkful of the dullest salad you've ever tried, a large proportion of saltless oven chips and the boulets themselves. The sauce is by a long way the best part. It's all downhill from there. The seitan is a little too tough albeit in a sticky sense rather than the usual rubberiness of the failed stuff. The chips are inexcusable. Chips are the easiest way to impress customers. Make them yourself, deep fry them and add salt as soon as they come out of the oil. It takes no time at all and people will love it. I won't comment further on the salad. I didn't dare to touch the cakes, which look even denser than the meatballs. I suggest closing the 'shop' portion of the business too, since it cheapens the atmosphere and is totally redundant now that supermarkets have realised that some people don't want to eat animals. There are several great restaurants in Brussels. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Great food. Fast service, real vegan place

Maybe getting a bot nostalgic, but this felt as 2018 vegan eating. Dishes you would never dream of eating vegan? They have it. The little shop is also giving kid in a candy store vibe. You can't leave empty handed! Great and friendly service. Restaurant was quite busy but i waited for my food 15 mins max, so not getting the other comments. Would return again!

The judgy vegan

Great place! Best meal ever! Loved it, all the food was delicious (drinks as well) There’s also a cute shop with lots of yummy treats for sale. Only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars is because the food took around 45 minutes to come.

Nothing is good

We've tried supporting veganism several times by going to Judgy Vegan. I think there are better ways to spend your money. Nothing is good. Everything is a bit dry, tasteless, uninteresting, and overpriced. One positive point: their interior is huge (and often empty of customers)! And they have a small shop where you can buy vegan chocolate and B12

Our favorite restaurant

We always love coming back to the Judgy Vegan. There’s a great selection of dishes and desserts. The homemade seitan is especially awesome. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. The place is an absolute safe space.

Safe place

Endroit agréable et militant. Coin épicerie, snacks et arty.
Nourriture simple et réconfortante.
Nous avons pris les boulets et les ribs avec une part de gâteau en dessert.
Heureusement nous n’étions pas pressés car le service était très lent.

nice place

the place is nice and the atmosphere is great.
the food was ok, but was lacking the little twist, that makes it more interesting.
the little "supermarket" is great to buy some more rare vegan products.

Pros: nice atmosphere, the little store

Cons: the dishes could need some twist

Good food and beer.

This is my go to place for full meals when I am in Bruxelles. I recommend the meatballs. You will need your phone to look at the menu (in French or English): there is free WiFi available.

Good restaurant

I ordered the "Boulets" and it was good even though quite simple.
My partner had the mushroom burger (Burger Forestier) and she said it tasted great.
We both agreed that the fries were far from impressive, most likely frozen.
The wait between ordering and getting served was also very long. So much so that we hesitated to pay for our drinks and leave. The restaurant was not full either. It took between 30 and 45 minutes to get us out food and from what I could see, only 3 tables were served during that time.

Pros: Good food, Nice service

Cons: Very long

So much love to this place

I went there with my omni dad. He's very sceptical, always needs meat with every meal and so unfortunately, when we arrived here to an empty restaurant his mood didn't improve.
Nonetheless, I loved the vibe inside. Suuuper cozy, amazing vegan products on display and nice interior.

We got:

Sesame Broccoli 6€
Basic, can't go wrong with broccoli

homemade mayonnaise 0,60€
Extremely delish!!

XXL Schnitzel 21€
Dad got that, I didn't properly ask for his opinion as I didn't want to hear bad comments, but he left a little which is unusual for him. In the other case - I LOVED IT! Such a tender seitan with a flavourful mushroom sauce. Maybe it can't convince an omni but as a vegan, GET THIS!!

Boulets sauce Liègeoise 17€
My main dish, and I loved. I'm not familiar with the belgian cuisine but apparently this is a traditional dish. The seitan balls were full of flavour and so was the sweet sauce with raisins. I asked if I could swap the fries with another side dish, maybe nuggets, but that wasn't possible. They were good tho!

Lavender Pear Cake Dessert 6€
Sadly I would not get this again. The cake was way too drenched in lavender and the fruit layer too sour. But I enjoyed the mascarpone!

2x Cookie 5€
From their little "shop" I got two RYTHM 108 cookies too :))

We waited around half an hour for our food which is very strange as we were the only customers, but at least it tasted very fresh and was hot. I'd go here again!!

EDIT:
Pineapple Sunshine 7,50€
Vegan Lobster Roll 9,50€
Trio of homemade Arancini 10,50€
Mousse chocolat 5,50€
Sticker 3,50€

I went there again, alone, and it was amazingggg. There were a few other tables but my food came so quickly.
The drink was sweet and refreshing!
The brioche was incredible... how is that vegan?? I still have no clue what the crab was but it was good.
The arinci were tasty, but the dip very boring :(
The mousse was *really* dark and rich, but harmonised perfectly with the sweet fluffy cream.
I love this restaurant.

Leider keine Empfehlung.

No real taste, just basic stuff you can easily make at home. I had the seitan ribs and it was pretty rubbery. Friendly staff and cosy place, but the attention to the food is lacking

Little underwhelmed by mains.

We had the lobster roll and the Arancini as a starter. These were good. The lobster roll came in a crispy roll and had a decent flavour. The arancini balls were really good. Crispy coating and a creamy rice filling. On our visit they didn’t have the red pepper tapenade so it came with a black garlic mayo (this wasn’t garlicky enough for us)

The mains were the ribs and the chefs salad.
The ribs were cake like in texture far too spongy.
The salad was ok but the “fried cheese” it came with was not great. It was more like tofu

great cake and side dishes

I was worried after reading the ratings on here and I understand them now.
We tried their lobster roll (10€) which was great and I’d come back for it! (Yummy but my bf said doesn’t taste authentic ✨) We also had fries which were okay but disappointing for 5€
They have a range of homemade drinks and the lemonade was good (more in the citrusy sour side)
For dessert we had a lemon& mango cake (7,50€ but a massive slice) and it was perfect and I’m so glad we got it to share🫶
Overall I would recommend it again for their cakes and lobster roll but not for their other dishes because those are really just violently over priced

Brunch

Very cosy, big place with both sofas and ordinary tables. Friendly staff and calm music, perfect for eating.
We had brunch and I chose pancakes. The waitress told me that three pancakes would be too much, she was right, I ordered two and almost couldn't manage the last one entirely, though they were very good, with bananas and strawberrys.

But I came here because I had read (on Happy Cow) about "Offers weekend brunch buffet until 3PM." This hasn't been available since covid-19. Please, staff at Happy Cow, change this info, since it's wrong.
I had been longing for the buffet, so I got quite disappointed. Vegan brunch buffets isn't that common where I live.
Afterall, a nice place to eat animalfriendly food. 💕

The toilets downstairs seemed to be not properly cleaned, not in order with paper etc. and there was an awful, damp smell (probably from the building?). Otherwise, they would get a 5 star rating from me.

Hello Inga,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I'm happy to read that you enjoyed the pancakes, and I’m truly sorry to read about the disappointment regarding the rest of your experience.

I’ve already reached out to HappyCow about the incorrect listing. Unfortunately, on independent platforms, we don’t have full control over how the information is presented — we can only request changes, but not edit the descriptions ourselves. I’m not sure why it now mentions a brunch buffet, as we haven’t offered a regular buffet for several years. Buffets only take place during specific, announced events.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information, we always recommend checking on our own website or social media accounts.

Regarding the toilets — they were cleaned shortly before opening, just about 30 minutes before your visit. Unfortunately, someone did ask to use the restroom just after we opened and stayed there for quite some time. I had intended to check afterwards but got caught up with taking your order and missed the opportunity — my apologies for that. While we clean the toilets and washroom every day, we can’t always predict or immediately react to unexpected use. It's state also depends on how people use it.

Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us stay attentive to the details that matter to our guests.

Best regards,
Julie
