Full vegan menu though execution need work

The vegan menu at the Italian corner in Wickham was full an enticing.
With 2 Entrée's, and 4 pizza's and 4 pasta's.

I had the garlic pizza with vegan "cheese' and oregano.
This was basic, but that's what I wanted and it ordered, and it was delicious.
I think it could have had some more "cheese" but still, I saved half for tomorrow, but ate it in the way home.
$24 was a little steep I thought however.

Then came the "penne con verdura mista"
Which was a little disappointing, though the menu said both "penne" and "ribbons of pasta" the dish served was missing a bit of heart. It seemed quite watery and was difficult to eat with a fork as it was quite "soupy".
The included variety of veggies and their flavor made up for the soup's lack of coming together. I counted artichoke, mushroom, tomato, capsicum, brussel sprouts, green beans among the watery "sauce"
Still the portion size was large and I did eat most of the meal.
Here again $28 for not much more than penne with blanched mixed vegetables is a bit rich, where that was notably missing from the dish.

With the wine list I was not able to find any glasses of wine which could be verified as vegan through a "Ai search " so I didn't drink anything, however this may be a good addition to the vegan section of the menu. And the wider menu it's self would be enhanced through a simple wine profile and pairing. I think this would also increase beverage sales.
In the case of selling out of other wines by the glass, the option of opening something as a "hand sell" would have at least meant that I bought a glass than not.

I spoke to and was served by the manager as well as both other younger females staff members all who were attentive and polite.

The interior decoration with a open style pizza oven station was cool to see and semi open kitchen and bar. The interior decor was appropriate, but outside the images on the facade are really quite tacky and pixelated if you aren't viewing from a far as in your car passing by.

I really appreciated the effort it to to create such an inclusive vegan menu.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: No apparent vegan wine
