Fabulous vegan options

I wasn’t sure about this at first, but nearly everything they serve is vegan, and all the desserts were vegan on the day I went. I had a mozzarella toastie in focaccia, a salmon bagel, a mushroom sushi roll and a piece of rhubarb and blueberry cake. Everything was super realistic and yummy. I wanted to buy everything! I didn’t try any drinks as had my own.

Pros: Lots of vegan options - hard to choose!, Friendly staff, Realistic and yummy food

Cons: Slightly on the expensive side, Only take away

Imaginative and plentiful vegan options

All savoury options (except scone) were vegan - I went for the smoked 'salmon' and cream cheese bagel which was delicious. My Mum went for the avo and cucumber kimchi sourdough sandwich - this was amazing, possibly the best sammy I've ever tried! They do a great range of drinks with lots of mylk options, including non-coffee lattes (I tried the vegan prana chai which was lovely), smoothies and health shots. They had a few vegan bakes too. Were only doing takeaway when I visited, but all packaging is compostable which is a big bonus! Clearly popular among locals as there was a queue outside. A couple of tables of seating outside too.

Very, very good smoothie's

Went up on the hill to find a place to get a smoothie and got two lovely smoothie's. One 'supergreen' which contained maca, wheatgrass, barleygrass (and other) powders together with avocado and coconut yoghurt. And one smoothie with coffee in it. They where very good! He also has the best coffee on town according to the locals and nice simple food. Everything is vegan i think, or can be made vegan.

Pros: Nice, pure and simple

Gorgeous brunch and lunch spot

Travelling to Totnes by train we were delighted to discover this gem at the top of the hill when we climbed up from the station! Beautiful sourdough, fresh toasties and avo on toast with original flavour toppings (kimchi or zhug) make fab breakfast options, and if you still have space there are a range of vegan cakes. However the portions are generous so if you are planning to try the cakes you may want to share! The coffee is gorgeous too and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Pros: Huge portions and reasonable prices, Delicious and fresh food, Great coffee
