I can only assume that the people who give this place rave reviews are used to the dearth of vegan options in Spain. It was OK and it was vegan, but if there were any competition it would not stand up. The food was under-seasoned and barely warm. In addition, it is soooo uncomfortable... a 'table for two' apparently equates to two bar stools at the bar.

Had the vegan croquettes and I think empanadas. I had noodles for the main which was really tasty but can't remember what my partner had.

Allervriendelijkste ontvangst, kleine maar leuk ingerichte zaak, drie voorgerechten en drie hoofdgerechten. Nam de Jambalaya, heerlijk die combinatie mat pistachenoten en granaatappel en een mooie portie. Ook de curry samosas en de zoete aardappel falafel lekker met de zelfgemaakte sauzen. Als dessert de chocobrowniw, je denkt daar hij stevig is dat die ook machtig is maar juist niet, echt heerlijk. Een aanrader. En de prijzen vallen enorm mee, een pelgrimsmenu is veel duurder en die zijn smakeloos en ongezond.

This place is amazing! It's fully vegan which is great and there's a decent amount of variety and choice too. The vibes, interior and design were all perfect and it's a really nice place to be. The staff seemed really nice too and the waitress there when I ate was so polite and sweet.

"Vegan food made with love" 🥰 - Edit
As their business card says, it truly is "vegan food made with love." It was so tasty we went back the next day. I would suggest booking a reservation or be willing to sit with people you’ve just met as it gets busy very quickly being one of the only fully vegan places in Santiago filled with pilgrims, tourists, and locals. But hey, you might make new friends, which is exactly what I did with my partner and another lovely couple from the Camino! A table of 2 became a table of 4 😃
Read moreShanta and her daughter Kashna who run the place have done an excellent job to provide seasonal options in an adorable and cosy setting very close to the cathedral in the city centre. The menu changes so what’s on it now, may not be in the coming months. There are limited choices on the menu but I tried just about all of them and I was super impressed. I also liked that the menu shared a bit of history/context about each dish and its flavours. I actually liked that there weren’t too many choices on the menu but that might be a con for some. I enjoyed the empanadas and the lo mein the most as they were packed with flavour and were large portions. Cheers to opening a vegan place for all to enjoy! This place is fully vegan. The charm and coziness of the restaurant and the friendliness of the owner unfortunately do not compensate for the blandness of the food.
Read moreThis place clearly caters for tourists who just want vegan food, however unexciting, and makes no effort to show non-vegans how delicious plant-based dishes can be when made with a bit of imagination. The non-vegan in our group was distinctly unimpressed, and none of us will be returning.
The menu is very limited but the owner apparently changes it quite often. On our visit there were three starters and three mains. We tried all the starters and two of the mains. I wish I could be more positive but none of the dishes was interesting in terms of taste or texture. One of the starters, sweet potato falafels, were virtually inedible due to their dryness and lack of taste.
With food like this veganism will never break out of its minority niche.

This place is really cute and cozy. The waitress was nice. Is was completely vegan. They had 3 tapas and 3 dish. They all seems quite simple. I chose the empanada and noodle. They were good but not so special. The price for tapas is 4 while the dish is 8 euro.

Cando fun (hai xa un tempo), non sabía o que esperar, xa que non anunciaba claramente que tipo de comida tiñan, segundo o sitio que vexas pon "flexitarian", vexetariano, ou vegano. Moi raro. Ese día era todo vegano, pero había moi poucas opcións e ademais eran moi caras en relación coa cantidade e calidade de comida que era. Tamén tivemos que sentarnos na barra a pesar de que non había tanta xente. Creo que debe estar orientado a peregrinos se non non entendo. Marchamos con fame.

That day everything was vegan, but there were very few plates to choose from and they were quite expensive in relation to the quantity and quality of the food. We had to sit at the bar despite not being too many people there. I think it must be aimed at attracting pilgrims. We left still being hungry.

When my husband visited the Green House, we were both craving something cozy and delicious, which is exactly what we were served. This place served international food, most of which seemed to be from Asian countries. They have a cute outdoor seating area, but it is slanted, so beware. The tables are level, but the chairs are not. We tried the Thai noodle dish, curry, and potato cakes. All the food was so delicious and the customer service was nice. After the camino, it was so nice to have some vegan options!
