What a variety of flavors! - Edit
This was exactly what I needed after walking the Camino. There was a set menu with two appetizers, two entrees, and a dessert. Within a group of 5, we tried everything. The Moroccan lentil stew was particularly delicious! The owner served us and told us about her experience opening the restaurant and the stamp she chose. Would highly recommend if you’re in need of veggies and vegan food after days on the Camino.

Heavenly - Edit
Oh my this place is amazing. Just what I needed after completing the Camino and having limited options along the way. I ate here two nights running and felt like it was home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the food is just so homely and delicious.

Wonderfully colorful - Edit
I love the vibe of the place, colors everywhere, great server. I walked in solo without a reservation and sat at the bar. Got some puffs and a stew and both were so great after having very little food on the Camino. The brownie however was very dry, but it was nice to have some chocolate, given the devastating lack of vegan chocolate in Spain.

The name says it all - Edit
Inside the restaurant it looks just like you would imagine a place named „greenhouse“ to look - it’s super cozy, the staff is lovely and the food was also delicious! just note that the portions are slightly on the smaller side, but if you order tapas and desert, it will be more than enough!

Amazing vibe - Edit
Beautiful cosy place with lovely décor and truly tasty food, but the real soul of the place is the owner. We traded stories and music recommendations, and when another group arrived, the conversation only got richer. Eating, drinking, sharing… such a great, unexpected night. Loved it! Great fun!

Nice ambience, but… - Edit
I would have loved to have given a good review of this place because it’s 100% vegan, they don’t fry the food to death and and they don’t season the food with loads of salt - but sadly, although the starter (mixed bean puffs) was good, the main course was a huge disappointment, because for both mine and my husband’s dishes the “kale” and “fresh spinach” promised in the dishes on the menu were effectively NOT in the dishes at all. This was the very reason why we had ordered those dishes, because after travelling through Spain for over a week and eating lots of very heavily fried foods we felt we really needed the fresh greens as promised on the menu (my husband ordered the Indian curry with, quote: “fresh spinach, a superfood packed with vitamins and minerals” and I ordered the African peanut curry with “kale”). When I called the waitress over to point this out wondering if there might have been a mistake, she checked with the chef who told her to tell us that they had substituted the kale for red cabbage - but when she showed me where it was I could hardly see it - there was literally the tiniest few spots of minutely cut up red cabbage dotted around the rim of the bowl! As for the lack of spinach in my husband’s curry, they just said that they didn’t have any so they decided to serve it without! I tried to explain to the (very sweet) waitress that the chef should have told her that there were no fresh greens, so she could have notified us BEFORE we ordered those dishes. I suggested she ask the chef to notify her in future, but she seemed reluctant to do so. I do, however hope she passed our disappointment on to the owners as they need to know if the chef isn’t doing his/her job properly.

Yeah vegan, but not great - Edit
I love an all veg place. You have to have a reservation and it's dinner only and cash only. Mains are more expensive than similar places. Seating is uncomfortable, mostly bar seating, and it's hot inside. I'll put up with anything for a good meal. The starters looked great, but I got a main, which was just ok, nothing special. 1 dessert offered, a brownie. I thought it was too dry. Overall the food was less good than what I can make at home. I'm grateful for veg food in Spain.

All vegan, but the taste was bland - Edit
Small restaurant with 100% vegan menus. The food we had was bland and the spices were missing. The offered food is healthy and the price is fair. But I've only been here once.

Friendly owner and staff - Edit
Three options for starters and mains respectively and the usual wine options. For seating, there are both inside and outside tables as well as bar counter seating. I opted for the vegetable noodle mains which came in a good sized portion. Would highly recommend especially if you are dying for vegetarian food after walking the Camino.

Nice people and vibe, the menú Is simple with Little choice, but everything Is very tasty. The only things i want to sat Is that the waitress didn't tell us about the drink menú (they don't have one) or explain us what we can drink, so we pick plastic bottle water instead of tap water (they have that).

Disappointing - Edit
We waited more than half an hour, supposedly (according to the waitress) "because it is cooked at the last minute, unlike other customers who eat reheated food" (strange and why?....).. When we see the result, I rather think that there was a stock problem: undercooked semolina and a ridiculous portion (unlike the same dish that I saw on the other tables with generous and more presentable portions). I suppose that we wait so long because of a "recover" leftovers.. I wanted my father to discover vegan cuisine, I am really very disappointed by his experience.

Amazing meal for a tired and hungry pilgrim - Edit
We just had the most amazing meal at the Greenhouse restaurant. As a pilgrim walking the Camino de Santiago, it is very difficult to find vegan/vegetarian options. The Greenhouse restaurant fulfilled our nutritional needs, our epicurean needs, and our emotional needs. Shanta and her crew lovingly prepare everything from scratch and with love. Not only is the food outstanding but the attention to detail along with the caring atmosphere are exactly what a tired pilgrim needs. The prices are very reasonable and the portions ample. The group I was with are not all vegetarian but they did not miss the animal protein. The wine was very nice and, if the food and outstanding wine wasn’t enough, the dessert of chocolate pistachio brownie sent us into a blissful reverie. This is a must visit for anyone, vegan or not, when you arrive in Santiago after walking your Camino.

One star - Edit
I couldn’t eat the main dish as it was just mainly rice noodles and a lot of oil. Pretty inedible after 5 mouthfuls. Very little veg also in it. Was hoping for something healthy after walking the Camino and not finding many vegan options. It was also overpriced compared to the other vegan places nearby. Such a shame. Place needs a bit of TLC.

The coziest - Edit
Super chill place with a maximalist approach to the decoration. The name is pretty accurate, as it really does make you feel like you are in a greenhouse. The owner is friendly, none of the options are your usual vegan dishes, and it's a great experience to eat here.

Food was decent if a little bland but the staff worked hard and it was great to have a confirmed vegan spot. More like home cooked than restaurant, but a nice little vibe.

Hungry place - Edit
Usually I just have the main course and I'm full. In this restaurant, I order the main course and then another one appetizer. The taste of the food was delicious. Unfortunately, I left the restaurant still hungry. Spending 25 euros for dinner for one is too much to be hungry.

Food for the soul - Edit
The Green House is one of the most memorable moments of my Camino de Santiago. Entering the place we felt so welcomed by the colourful interior, the great smell from the kitchen and the cosy atmosphere. We almost ordered everything from the menu to share: korean rice balls, mexican bean puffs, sweet potato and chickpea curry, thai stir fried rice noodles and a brownie for dessert. Shanta, the owner was alone tonight and had to run both the kitchen and the restaurant all by herself! Quite impressive! After eating bread, salads and potatoes on the camino the santiago, these dishes were as comforting as you can imagine. We had a great evening sharing our amazing food and having a nice chat with Shanta, who has seen a lot of the world. With the rain outside we could have stayed forever, but getting sleepy from having our bellies stuffed and our souls soothed, our hotel was calling us. Don't skip this place when you're in Santiago de Compostela.
