The turkey sandwich was really good. This isn’t a boring sandwich shop. It didn’t have the fake meat or cheese taste. It was very flavorful. My pescatarian husband got the Philly cheese and my meat eating son got the meatball. Both enjoyed their sandwiches.

I stumbled upon this place while on a walk in Oceanside. I didn't even have to look on Happy Cow. I had the pastramee sandwich with a bag of chips. I'm not a full Vegan but I found the sandwich to be very good. It was also good sized. I'll have to bring my Vegan lady friend on my next Oceanside visit. I know she'll enjoy the food.

I love myself a good sandwich, but I unfortunately was left disappointed. There seems to be many good reviews but I felt that the sandwiches were not nothing to rave about. I dont say this arrogantly, but it felt that one could make better sandwiches at home.
Read moreThe sandwiches had what seemed to be a single lettuce leaf, the bread felt dry and poorly stored, the sauces were bland, the protein felt dry and lacking flavor.
I think vegan sandwiches can be packed with flavor, but I felt this was a let down. I would for this all vegan restaurant to thrive, but it isnt for me right now.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It’s way more than a sandwich shop because the flavors are so delicious and creative! We got matcha donuts and split a jokerman sandwich. Also they’re dog friendly!

My boyfriend and I stopped by here on our way home, and we were satisfied with our sandwiches. I got a ham sandwich which reminded me of my childhood and my boyfriend got a chicken sandwich. Both were good! Not life changing, as an experienced vegan I could probably make them at home, but on the road they were a fresh treat. We also got the vegan snicker, my boyfriend liked it, I didn’t.
Read moreOnly thing, the staff was nice enough, it was a little slow but they were kind. One of the employees made a comment about us wearing our masks (the only ones in the store with a face covering), which was odd. Mask are optional, but as a personal preference we both still wear ours so we didn’t appreciate the comment (that we likely weren’t supposed to hear).
Additionally, the other customers made the experience unpleasant. We found ourselves being stared at, and watched. It was so uncomfortable between the masks comment and the stares, we took our food to go. I am not sure if it was because we were wearing masks, or racial, or maybe we just looked funny. It was odd though. This is not the restaurants fault, so I didn’t deduct points from the review, however, it was worth noting.
I am sticking with 3 stars because of the mask comment, without it, probably 4 stars. Regardless, give these sandwiches a try and hope you have a better experience.

Love that Oceanside is getting more vegan options. Close to CamPen for quick vegan lunch...but better to call ahead if in a rush, especially of it is busy. But food is worth it.

Read moreMy husband and I were delighted to discover this small all plant-based restaurant on Highway 101 in Oceanside, just north of Mission Ave. We are also gluten-free, so that is an added filter that can be difficult. However, they had a number of gluten-free sandwich options, along with gluten-free bread, so we ordered a cold hummus vege sandwich and a hot mushroom sandwich. I wasn't expecting the bread to be great, but OH MY GOODNESS! It is DELICIOUS! Clearly freshly baked and soft and yummy, not like the commercial packaged GF breads that can be dry and taste like cardboard. It is apparently sourced from a local vegan bakery. Nice surprise! Both sandwiches were heavenly delicious and then we split a chocolate covered nutty caramel bar that they carry from the same bakery that was to die for! We didn't try them, but they also have gluten-free donuts for dessert! Wow!
The inside of the restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated and casual. There are several small tables outside on the sidewalk, where we sat with our dog. Highway 101 is quite noisy with traffic, but it was nice to be able to be there with our pooch and people-watch.
If you're looking for plant-based yummy food in Oceanside, this is a great find!

I got the Fairytale of New York and the cubano sandwiches. For being a 100% vegan place it was good. The sandwiches were tasty but the bread was a little stale and there could have been more veggies. The guy that helped me was super friendly and cool. Cool decor and vibe. I’ll eat here again when I’m in Oceanside.
