Portions were huge! I eat a lot but a starter and a main was enough!

Didn’t get offered any additional drinks.
Restaurant is out of the way compared to the rest of the town, but worth a visit if you can go when it’s quiet.

Es tut mir immer weh, ein rein veganes Lokal schlecht bewerten zu müssen, aber in dem Fall kann ich leider nicht anders. Das einzige, was ich hier positiv hervorheben kann, ist, dass das Lokal nett eingerichtet ist. Das Essen war unausgewogen gewürzt, und mein ‚Tofuscramble‘ hatte mit dem, was man sich darunter vorstellen würde, rein gar nichts zu tun. Das Brot war trocken und geschmacklos. Die Bedienung war desinteressiert, und obwohl wenig los war, mussten wir ewig warten. Der doch recht hohe Preis ist absolut ungerechtfertigt.

Disappointed with the ratio between chikn and rice. I ordered the orange chicken which tasted really good! However the ratio felt like there were 4 pieces of chicken to 2 bowls of rice. Would've been better if there were more vegan chickn pieces. The rice was also a little undercooked. Options were great though and if I were to rate for taste alone it would be 4/5.
Price: 3/5
€17.50 for the main, quite expensive.
Service: 4/5
Friendly staff but service was a tad slow.

Le restaurant est joli et la terrasse agréable. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de place. Nous avions réservé mais quand nous sommes arrivés à 12h30, la serveuse nous a dit de nous asseoir où nous voulions car tout était libre. Mais au cours de l'attente (assez longuette) le restaurant s'est rempli. Nous avons pris le plat du jour (curry d'aubergines) et une grande salade césar (en plat principal). Les plats étaient bons, quoiqu'un peu fades à notre goût, mais la salade était petite et j'avais encore faim. J'ai pris deux boules de glace vanille en dessert, elle était très bonne. Un peu cher.Service souriant. Facile d'accès par les escaliers quand on vient de visiter le château.

Read moreI had the butter chicken with basmati rice. It’s done in a healthier and lighter, non-conventional way, and it was quite tasty. Generous portion size.
Also got an apple juice, which was just so-so (and strangely, served warm).
In general I would recommend this place and would want to visit again to try out the other items on the menu.

We went to Green Garden after having visited the Festung Hohensalzburg (it is convienently located for this) and were delighted with the quality of the food! I can especially recommend the orange chicken - it is exceptionally flavorful! The prices are slightly elevated, but you can tell that also a fair amount of effort goes into the dishes.

Essen war geschmacklich nicht überzeugend und hat eher fad geschmeckt, von thailändisch keine Spur (obwohl Thai-Gericht). Das Personal schien auch überfordert. Sodazitrone war mit Konzentrat statt frischem Zitronensaft (bei diesem Preis sehr schade). Generell überteuert!

Het eten was heel lekker en veel verschillende opties. Helaas moesten we erg lang op alles wachten, het personeel leek te druk en had vrijwel geen aandacht voor ons. We kregen één van onze voorgerechten niet en we vonden een stuk plastic in één van onze hoofdgerechten. We kregen hier jammer genoeg geen excuus of korting voor.

Excellent food, fantastic experience - Edit
Our first visit to Green Garden in Salzburg was so good, we went a second time before leaving the city. Delicious food served in large portions, friendly service, everything was wonderful. We were even offered to try from a platter of vegan cheeses, which were all simply excellent. Five stars.

Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the summer rolls and Buddha bowl - both were so yummy! Both dishes were appetisers and came to 20 euros together so definitely on the pricey side. I’d rate 5* if it was cheaper

This place looked like it couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be fancy or casual, because it’s presentation and interior decoration is interesting and the prices are high, but the quality of food and size of portions are quite low. I paid €17.50 for a small portion of simple rice with bunch of orange “chicken” and sauce in the middle; very plain, but not terrible.

Eher kleine Portionen; die Buddha Bowl hatte ein bisschen Hummus, etwas Gemüse und 4 trockene Falafelbällchen. Beim Butter Chicken mit Kurkuma Reis fehlte leider der Kurkuma im Reis 🤷🏻♀️, und die Preise waren ziemlich hoch.

Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal im Green Garden und haben vom guten Frühstück gehört. Allerdings waren wir immer zum Abendessen da und wurden von den Größen der Portionen enttäuscht. Es ist völlig okay, die Preise anzupassen und dementsprechend mehr für Essen und Trinken zu verlangen. Allerdings erwartet man doch bei einer Nachspeise von 9 Euro ein Schokokuchenstück, das breiter ist als der Daumen.
