The restaurant is very friendly to vegans! I received a menu with types of noodles and toppings that marked what was vegan, and I put together a dish for myself, it was very, very delicious

Good fresh food, but items missed! - Edit
We wanted a takeaway that could cater for veggie/vegan tastes, and we’re delighted to find that Uncle Van’s allowed us to specify exactly what we wanted. You turn up and fill in their leaflet, ticking the items you’d like. The food was quickly made, and quite tasty, but they seemed quite hurried, despite me being the only customer, and missed out items on the order, including beer and a brownie, which they didn’t have, and soup, which they didn’t make, and I only realised was missing when I got back to the hotel. It’s a good place, but I’d suggest you check you order before leaving!

Inside it‘s very small. Outside is more Space, but no rain Protection, so if the weather is not good, use take away.

You can either choose from existing meals or create your own from the scratch: You can choose between different noodles and rice, various vegetables, meat (or tofu as an alternative) and souces many of which are vegan as well.

At uncle vans you can either get some ready made options -vegan- or you choose your own noodles with toppings and sauces -most of them are vegan- and the fry your individual meal for you.

this Uncle Van isn’t my favourite. the place just isn’t as cosy as others. the food is still delicious though and i love the pick-what-you-like concept.
