Lovely welcome, tasty food, more attention to detail needed - Edit
The welcome a d food were lovely, but we were a little worried after our drinks were both wrong (Ordered a pot of tea with oat milk and a coke zero, received cow's milk with the tea and a regular coke (as well as both vegan, I'm also type 1 diabetic).
Read moreThat made us worry a little whether our food would be correct (ordered the vegan version, as indicated on the menu), so when it came I asked the waitress "just to confirm, this is the vegan version, isn't it", she responded "It should be".
We really enjoyed the food and the friendly staff, and appreciate people have off days, but we'll probably leave it a while before going back, perhaps until we see reviews indicating better attention to detail.

Great spot overlooking the water and boats.
Read moreWe had already planned to go to the vegan Harvest Moon cafe for brunch so we just popped in to this cafe for coffee to drink on a walk around the harbour.
Very friendly service and quite nice coffee (although not filled to the top - not the end of the world I guess).
We checked out the menu and there were three appealing vegan breakfast options on the menu including a Build Your Own breakfast which offered vegan black pudding.

Food contaminated - Edit
Unfortunately my food had meat in one the corners of the pastries in after checking and being told my food plate put down infront of me was specifically made vegan. Shocked. Again shocked the owner has said this is a rare event and said there may been a mix up like it didn't matter, hopefully they take more consideration to allergens... . Still not exceptable made me cry and had to spit out the chirizo into a tissue after thinking something was really wrong and really upset me and goes against my rights, beliefs and morals, won't be going back!

Tasty food and great coffee - Edit
Though they don't have vegan options on their menu, it does say they can make vegan/gf options, just to ask. I asked the waitress and the chef popped his head round and started explaining all the things he could change to make sfv. There were quite a few options. I decided on the smoked tofu and vegetable ciabatta with hummus and was no disappointed - it was amazing! Staff are friendly and great views of the waterfront.

Amazing view of the harbour but not suitable for vegans. They had milk options for coffee but that’s it. They were willing to adapt the avocado and egg toast by removing the egg; and adapt the salad, by adding some falafel, tofu, and hummus at extra cost.
