Vegan pecan pie

This place is nice. I went twice, the first time for lunch and the second time just for a coffee and some pie.

I had the Buddha bowl and the strawberry lemonade the first time and a green juice the second. It was all very tasty.

They serve oat milk coffees too.

Delicious vegan wrap

As at July 2024, there is a vegan wrap on the menu. Really delicious and filling

Was ok

The setting is excellent but I expected more options to be honest and it is quite expensive. What I had was tasty enough.

Not impressed

The only thing saving this place is the decent coffee. I had the avocado toast without egg and it was not great. Way too much lime, the “greens” is just some lettuce with shredded carrot sprinkled on top. The bread for the toast was not my favorite either.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Food not tasty

Plenty of options

I enjoyed the Buddha bowl but had a hard time choosing what to order since it had many vegan and vegetarian options. Lovely setting and good service.

Pros: Variety, Ambience , Good value

Great meals, lovely cafe

Went once for lunch and got the quinoa bowl and the chocolate tarte and then went again on a different day for the vegan breakfast burrito. Food and drinks were fantastic, the garden courtyard is absolutely beautiful and staff are friendly. Definitely recommend!

The vegan chocolate tarte was amazing.

Quite crowded, but very nice seating area in the garden. The chocolate tarte and the matcha latte with almond milk were amazing

Nice location, good cake, but absolutely overpriced

We had a chai latte, iced golden, a pecan tarte and a chocolate tart. Was good, but we payed 24$ which is definitely out of range.
One cake was 5,50$ and for the almond milk we payed an extra of 1$.

Not my favorite

Went here during the day for a cup of coffee and that was very nice. Then at night I went back for dinner, and ordered the buddha bowl here, which was alright, but not the best. The staff wasn't too friendly either. Overall I wouldn't recommend going here for dinner, but just for a cup of coffee during the day.

I was happy!

Great atmosphere of course (as all reviews said), and excellent food. It was definitely pricey by Nicaraguan standards but that is just the kind of restaurant it is, so no fault to it. Food was delicious and I loved the pecan torte they had for dessert! My partner and I gobbled it right up.

Horrible service, food ok

This place is really cute with a lovely garden in the center. However, it was really crowded and the service was incredibly slow. Except for the vegan chocolate tartalete nothing on the menu was declared vegan but luckily they could tell me which options were vegan. I ended up with the Buddha bowl which was nice but waaaaay to garlicy. I had the tartalete for desert, it was really good but also very, very, rich.
Everything took ages, even having the menu in the first place. One of my friends had to give in his order 2 times and his juice was never served. After waiting too long for the bill we went to the counter to pay. All in all, I think this place is very overrated.

Tourist Trap

This restaurant is all about the ambience. The courtyard garden is divine. The service is lacklustre and there aren’t many vegan options. The highlight of our overpriced meal was the vegan chocolate cake. Otherwise, we wished we had returned to Tostometro.

Pros: The vegan cake, The courtyard garden, Free wifi

Cons: Overpriced, Lacklustre service, Lack of vegan options

Great food and beautiful ambiance

I ate here two times. The ambiance / atmosphere is very lovely and relaxing. It wasn’t very busy even though I had dinner here on New Years Eve. They staff is very friendly and they are very open to adjusting the menus for vegans. Leave out butter, cheese, etc.
There’s a vegan smoothie with coconut, banana, peanut butter and cacao and it’s delicious!
Good Wifi.

Pros: Great dishes, easy to adjust for vegans, Beautiful ambiance , Very friendly staff

Beautiful place

Several vegetarian options that can be made vegan. A little bit pricy for Nicaragua. The place itself is really beautiful and is worth a try!

Curry rice again

After having eaten at another restaurant where the only sure vegan option was a spicy curry rice, I again had the choice between some pasta dish, the curry rice and a hummus-avocado sandwich, leaving out the one non-vegan ingredient of each one, I opted for the curry rice. It was not finger-lickin' good, but okay. The location was pretty awesome though and the staff was really friendly. The girl immediately knew that there were no vegan desserts. At least she seemed to know what vegans couldn't eat. Prices are okay.

Pros: Location, staff

Cons: No vegan desserts

Good place

Items are not clearly marked, but they will make every effort to accommodate vegans. We went here for breakfast and lunch. I substituted potatoes instead of eggs. Pancakes and waffles not vegan, but the avocado toast is if you get it without the eggs. Good choice.

Pros: Will accommodate

Cons: Not many vegan options
