Poor vegan breakfast

Don’t bother if you’re looking for breakfast. Sausages were hard like they’d been reheated. No plant spread so toast was dry. Fresh cooked mushrooms, hash
Browns and tomatoes. Not worth the money.

Pros: Served oat latte, Staff were friendly

Cons: Poor vegan breakfast

Lovely village pub!

We were served by a lovely lady called Rochelle! She was fabulous at helping me find some vegan options without tomatoes due to my allergies. A couple of the options weren't available but they were more than happy to try their best to adjust it!

Booked a private section as we were part of a big group! Best decision would recommend again!!!

Pros: Simple Vegan Options, Amazing and welcoming staff!

Cons: Not a lot of options

Far less equipped for vegan brunch than menu suggests

Booked for an early Mother’s Day brunch for a mixed group, menu listed three types of df milk, and two vegetarian brunch menu options with ‘vegan serve available’ underneath.

When we arrived, they only had one df milk (soya). When we asked for ‘vegan serve’ she said they couldn’t do the vegan option but we could have vegetarian without the egg. We said yes to that, but I double checked there wasn’t milk in anything else. She asked if I had a milk allergy, so I replied that I was vegan (which was very clear from the conversation we had been having about wanting vegan brunch). There was just a real misunderstanding about vegans not just having a veggie option. She went and checked with the kitchen, and then removed two more items. I wish I had asked for more mushrooms, but thought they’d maybe compensate the gaps.

They didn’t. One small flat mushroom, one tiny half tomato, beans and bread. Spread around the plate with big gaps between. They charged the full price of vegetarian breakfast, even though the dish was glorified beans on ‘toast’.

The staff were friendly, just a complete lack of understanding about veganism, and pretty bad value for money with half the breakfast missing.

Didn’t go one star as I had a breakfast, it was nice enough, and at least I had a soya cappuccino!

Pros: All the coffees could be made with soya milk, Friendly staff

Cons: Most vegan options unavailable, Lack of understanding about milk in food products, Don’t replace non-vegan options, just leave gaps

Very good option in the area

I was pleasantly surprised with their vegan menu, it was actually very tasty and I didn't feel like I was missing out at all!

Pros: great menu, good value

Cons: no vegan menu on Sundays
