After spending time in southeast Kansas with little or no vegan options, it was fantastic to eat here on the way to the airport! Great menu including jalapeño poppers!

I'd eat here every day. I'd marry the fried pickles. I want the Carolina sammy in my casket with me when I'm buried.

Spot on! - Edit
Chose this all vegan spot as it we were driving through and it was close to interstate. I’d drive WAY out of my way to eat here again. Food quality 10/10. Nice little mid century furniture and clothing shop a couple doors down and fantastic coffee shop as well.
Read moreWish I had taken pics of the food. I know many may laugh at this, but I’ll say don’t laugh until you’ve tried them. I’m 56 and the fries that came with my Nashville Hot Chik’n sandwich were without question the best fries I’ve had in my life!
Pros: Food quality., Portion size., Cute little neighborhood.
Cons: Zero

Best vegan food in KC - Edit
Love their seitan “chicken” sandwiches, baked goods, shakes. On Sunday the brunch is fantastic: pancakes, smothered biscuit, etc. They have lots of great stuff - but their breaded seitan is amazing.

I used to live in Kansas City and it’s been a long time since I found a vegan restaurant this good. Came for a visit and I plan to eat there as often as I can. Even my non-vegan kids love it

Good selection, went on a Tuesday so a little bummed pancakes and french toast are only available on the weekends, but I got the crunch wrap instead and it was good!

What a Lovely Place! - Edit
Passed through Kansas City and made the 30-minute walk here from my accommodations. I'm glad I walked because the food is deliciously filling and I needed to walk it off. I had the chicken-fried-chicken plate. The gravy was out of this world, and the chicken was great as well. I overheard some other first-timers to this place marveling at how tasty their meals were. The homey vibe and welcoming staff make the place great. Also, the service was very fast considering the type of food that they serve. It was with me in less than ten minutes.

Amazing vegan brunch/junk food. Definitely not healthy, but so very tasty. The smothered chicken biscuit was amazing and huge portions. Breakfast potatoes cooked to perfection and the gravy was outstanding. My husband had the Nashville chicken Sammie and it was good, quite spicy. Berries n creme donut was *chefs kiss*!

Excellent vegan junk food - Edit
I was in town for a conference and made my way over here for dinner. I had a great meal here. I got the Carolina chicken sandwich, which was very good. I love Carolina barbecue and so this hit the spot. The sandwich comes with a very generous portion of french fries. I also got an order of fried pickles, which were also very good. In this case, it was fried pickle chips, as opposed to fried pickled spears, which is the way they are usually served at other restaurants. I think I prefer fried pickled chips. I finished with the chocolate chip scone and an espresso caramel cookie. Both were very good.

I ordered through the website, which put the order through the Toast App and DoorDash delivered. Food was great! The milkshake is so rich and creamy unlike many others I’ve ordered.

Delicious food - Edit
My wife and I took my non vegan parents there and they loved it (we loved it too!). Food was delicious and portions were large. Staff were super friendly. The location is nice and open, when we went there were cute Xmas decorations with some you could color yourself.
Read moreThe fried burrito was my favorite, delicious and came with a nice side of roasted potatoes. The chicken sammie (it is made with seitan and tofu) was also good but my wife thought it had too much sauce. Dad had a bowl of chili which got his approval as a chili connoisseur, and my tiny mom liked her portobello burger so much she actually finished her plate. The Sammie and burger came with a lot of fries, each enough for 2 people.
For dessert we shared a chocolate chip scone, nice taste but a little crumbly, dunno if scones are normally this crumbly...
Pros: Friendly staff, Great food
Cons: Chicken sammie a little "gloopy"
