NOT VEGAN OR VEGGIE - Edit
Please be aware that all the animal flesh is fried with the chips, and beef dripping is used, so it is not vegan.
Read moreStaff had no idea of what vegan meant, and struggled to work out if there was cross contamination. Mostly kids who didn’t have great customer service skills or understanding of food, which I can understand but still…
The only thing that would actually be vegan is the magnum ice cream from the fridge. I assume the pie too if it’s cooked in an oven or microwave.
The ‘Quorn’ sausages and nuggets etc were not specified as to whether they are veggie or vegan, but if they are fried in the shared oil, then they are neither.
Cons: Not clear labelling , Staff unhelpful

Saw the reviews thought I’d check it out. I asked about the Quorn Sausages/Fishless fillet and veggie burger to double check they hadn’t no egg/dairy etc staff where great but had to double check, came back as May contain which was fine. However, it appeared to have put out the female owner for some reason who kept whispering to her serving staff either she’d made a mistake with my order and had to redo it or vegan requests put her out of her stride but she wasn’t happy and came across as passive-agressive. It then made me question as to how the vegan/veggie meals are cooked and if they place it in with the rest of the meat produce!! I couldn’t see due to it being pretty busy.
Read moreThe owner (male) appeared more on the ball, the other staff where polite, efficient and happy to double check.
Vegan ice cream are definitely plant-based (Magnum, Swedish glaze cone, Swedish glaze vanilla/strawberry and chocolate scoops).
Pros: Perfect portioned chip buttie (no butter)., Perfect size veggie sausage’s (may contain)., Pleasant surprise for the size of fishless fish (m
Cons: Not clear to customers what and how it’s cooked., Staff not clear about what’s vegan., Owner (female) hostile!!

Solid experience with vegan options - Edit
We had Quorn sausages (vegan) and chips X2. The menu also has a vegan pie and fishless fillet. You can sit in and eat but there is no toilet. Marked down slightly as the chips portions are smaller than you'd expect for a chip shop

Cons: Small portion of chips

Surprising find - Edit
Good number of options for veggie/vegan (Quorn fishless filet, Pukka pies) which is unusual for this area. Most of the time I'm left out with just a plate of chips, so was a pleasant surprise.
