Pleasantly surprised - Edit
Vegan friendliness is still not the norm in the area, so we were genuinely surprised to see clear labelling of (fully) vegan options on the menu, though they're limited.
Read moreThe only vegan main course (I think) was a veggie burger, but it came with everything vegan (bun, cheese) and it was a very pleasant burger -- which we were then told was handmade in house!
There was also a melon cocktail with sorbet for dessert, and various sides were vegan.
I would happily eat here again.

Visited this hotel restaurant on the strength of the other local review but sadly, couldn't agree with the 4* max rating. There is a separate vegan menu and a reasonable choice but apart from that nothing really to recommend it. I am only writing this to give future vegan visitors a better idea and don't enjoy giving poor reviews. There isn't even a view to console one for the drabness of the dining room interior.
