The Closet has a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly menu and is generally welcoming towards diversity. 🌈
Read moreDuring the daytime, it functions as a bistro/café with a couple of vegan dessert items and simple main dishes. In the evening, it's a bar serving alcohol as well. There are a few vegan meals and snacks on the menu, which are clearly labeled, e.g. Tteokbokki 떡볶이, a vegan chicken wrap, vegan chicken with rice. They use plant-based proteins to replace meat and seafood, which is nice since food doesn't end up being the usual carb bombs by simply omitting the animal-derived components.
Some dishes seem a bit pricey, while others cost less than 10.000 KRW.
So far, I've only been here for dinner once, and tried all of the available main dishes. The taste of the food was barely ok, I don't think I'd come back for the food.
It's a spacious café/bar in the basement. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Staff is friendly.

If I was a nightlife person I would definitely pop in here for snacks while bar hopping. I visited in the afternoon and it was a very chill vibe with a nice little menu. Tried a couple lattes, the mala peanuts and some mandu. All very good!

I liked that they had all vegan menu. Also decaf coffee option💗(i can only do decaf) they have interesting beer menus (my friend had one w milk tea) nice comfortable atmosphere.

This place is easy to love. Very welcoming hidden away cafe/bar is the perfect place to meet up. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. There vegan drink selection is great and they have snacks to help you enjoy the drinks. This was a great find in a quiet area of Hapjeong
