Great food. Fun staff and Patrons - Edit
I've been vegan 25 years and live in Provincetown. This is absolutely one of the premier vegetarian options in Provincetown. The owners are committed to sustainable ethics . The decor is really fun and it feels like your on a boat.
There are a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Their salads are large and hearty, the sandwiches and plates are delicious. They also have multiple vegan sides, some larger plates, and label their vegan food. They have vegan muffins for breakfast/dessert. The menu changes seasonally.
The vegetable/white bean hummus/pesto sandwiches are among my favorites, but honestly everything is delicious with fresh ingredients and well thought out pairings. The kale tahini salad is also a favorite of mine.
This is a casual environment where you order at the counter and then food is brought to the table. They have indoor seating, and street side seating which is great for people watching. Also there are many casual tables on the beach behind the restaurant in warmer months.
The Canteen is a great place to eat and a business worth supporting.
