Excellent food in quirky location

The full menu had a couple of vegan options but we were there for the breakfast menu. The vegan breakfast was really inventive with two homemade sausages, nice toasted bread, beans, mushrooms, tomato, tempura veg (I think sprouting broccoli) and a puree with peanuts. Really tasty and nice to see them not just attempting to replicate a meat breakfast. Very tasty and would definitely go again. There was only one vegan cake option, rhubarb crumble slice which was lovely although a bit small for the price. The location is quirky being in restored nissan huts with reclaimed furniture. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Pros: Very good quality inventive food, Friendly staff

Cons: Cake portion could have been bigger.

Delicious vegan options in a beautiful setting.

They can make the vegetarian taster board vegan upon request. Included 2 types of hummus, 2 types of bread, onion bhaji, a salad, and a sample of the soup of the day. The staff were very friendly and open to adapt lots of things on the menu. I also had a vegan pecan and banana bread slice which was delicious and still warm.

Fab vegan breakfast

Lovely cafe surrounded by pretty countryside and sea. Had the huge vegan breakfast which was amazing: no fake meat but freshly made bread, beans/tomatoes, mushrooms, lightly fried onion bahjis, I think squash hummus and fried pattie. Was unconventional for me but tasted absolutely wonderful. Didn’t have room but they had vegan cake as well.

Pros: Eat inside or out, Lovely food
