Lots of options and good to see a bakery who doesn't use cheap supermarket soy milk.

Vegan pie - Edit

The vegan roll was out of stock but the vegan pie was awesome. Super tasty. Nice little surprise going through Braidwood when I didnt expect any vegan options.
It’s very busy on a Saturday and all vegan options were sold out by 1pm. Come early!

Delicious! - Edit

Super friendly staff, store is clean and presentable. Went to try the vegan sausage roll but out of stock, went with the veggie pie instead (vegan) and was really impressed! Filling was like a Sunday roast with a wide variety of vegetables and not just the normal frozen peas and carrots. Lovely pastry also. Highly recommend!

Pros: Good price, Tasty pastry

Cons: Needs more options

Great vegan sausage roll - Edit

They have one clearly labeled vegan item on the menu - the vegan sausage roll. Was delicious. I asked about other items. The staff member said that the Apple turnover was vegan, but I did not order this.

Pros: Delicious sausage roll

Cons: No other vegan options

Vegan option(s) - Edit

Checked this place out today and the sausage roll is now labeled as vegan on the menu - not the veggie pie. They didn't have any so I didn't check whether those were actually vegan or not. Vegan sausage roll was decent with a faux sausage filling (not just a potato and pea/corn filling like you sometimes see) - not amazing, but you can't really go wrong at $3.5 and a lot more than you'll find in other places.

Not expressly marked vegan, staff a bit clueless. - Edit

This place has a vegetable pie on the menu (not marked anywhere as vegan), because I saw on here they have a vegan option so I was bold enough to ask about it.

The first guy I spoke to had NO idea what I was talking about and was jus being confusing and unhelpful/contradictory. So I spoke to another worker who got out the ingredients book for me and it looked (to me) like the pie was vegan, so I got it. Recommend confirming when you go there, just in case they change the ingredients.
