Nice café in Braidwood with vegan options - Edit
Nice café for a small town, it is not vegan but had several interesting vegan dishes and vegan optional dishes which were clearly marked on the menu. Our food was really good and enough to fill you up for not too expensive prices. Best of all, when we chose a vegan option dish the staff offered to replace a non-vegan item with something else and I don’t think we were charged extra for this (yes I know this should be common but we have had a lot of experiences where they remove the egg and cheese and charge you the same!). There were several plant milks to choose from and the coffee was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and we liked the decor too. I’d recommend this place if you are in town or passing through.

The Albion was the only place in Braidwood that had decent vegan options (actual meals, not just salad and chips).
Read moreWe dined on roasted cauliflower and chickpeas with flat bread and a broccoli and black rice salad with miso dressing. Both were super delicious! Quaint building, funky interior and good service.
