Worth seeking out! - Edit
Good to find a place in the area with clearly labelled vegan options. Picturesque spot on the lake for a bite to eat. We had breakfast, which was pretty good. I don’t normally go in for the overly veggie breakfasts but it was tasty. Seemed to be options for lunch and tea as well as some cakes/deserts. Worth the drive out to it.

Really lovely! - Edit
Stopped on a gorgeous sunny day. Couldn't book a table in advance (possibly as it was a bank hol?) but we went for a walk first round the gorgeous lake, then stopped back in and it wasn't a problem to sit inside or outside! It was super sunny so we chose inside as our dog was too warm. Plus there were lots of wasps outside. But it's so picturesque! Service was absolutely impeccable and so friendly, every single person was lovely. The menu is different on their website (it's still their spring menu uploaded) so I took a pic of the summer menu. We had hummus, flatbread and olives to start, then my husband had the Buddha bowl and I had the butternut squash tart. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. There's an ice cream stall outside (not related to the boathouse) that sells plant based mint chocolate chip, strawberry, vanilla and salted caramel ice cream, plus mango and strawberry sorbet!! Lush!!

Yummy food with a view - Edit
We were passing through and stopped at this place on spec and I was very pleasantly surprised. There were a good few vegan options on offer and plant milks.
Read moreI went quite old school with houmous, olives and flatbread with a side salad because I’m being ‘good’ and it was all yummy. I wanted a pudding but too many calories!
Pros: Choice, Nice view
Cons: No vegan option on kids menu
