Shrimp in the curry and it's on the veggie menu - Edit
I've eaten here a number of times and originally put this place on Happy Cow, I slightly regret that now as they're just as unknowledgeable as any Thai restaurant, you really need to spell it out and check EVERYTHING.
Read moreThe red and green curries on the vegetarian menu contain shrimp paste so they are NOT vegetarian or vegan. I was told they were vegan several times before I insisted she check the pots and was then told they contain a tiny bit of shrimp. Exactly the same thing happened again on my last visit with regards the curries. They will insist they are vegan when they aren't. I'd also suggest checking for oyster sauce as likely they will have no idea about that either.
However the food is very tasty. I had the sweetcorn cakes, mushroom coconut soup and the Pad Thai with tofu instead of egg and it was all lovely but please ask a lot of questions if you plan to eat there.
It's BYOB and corkage only £1 per person so great value

Nice thai with lots of vegetables - Edit
This nice little thai place has a lot of veggie dishes on the menu, but it is not so clear which ones are vegan, as others already wrote, you should ask the stuff. I had a wonderful entree of fried tofu and then a mushroom and vegetable dish with a chillie, pepper and onion sauce. The sauce was nothing special and the chillies not noticeable, but it contained a lot of vegetables, which were really good

Tasty Thai in fun atmosphere - Edit
Really friendly restaurant where the staff made great efforts to ensure they modified dishes to be vegan - even to the extent of not using egg to seal the pancake rolls. Loads of locals eating there, creating a great buzz. Highly recommended.
