Read moreI had read all the other reviews before attending, so I was very aware that some staff had told people green curries were vegan and others had said they contain fish sauce.
Our waiter was very nice and educated, perfect English. We explained we’re vegan and he confirmed that it was true: NONE of the curries are vegan, nor would they make them vegan.
We were advised of four dishes that were, or could be made vegan and we chose two.
When our dishes came out, delivered by a different waiter, he introduces one dish as something different to what we ordered. When challenged, he changed it to what we had ordered. Looking at it, it wasn’t what we ordered so we called the first waiter back.
We could tell it wasn’t the first time, and he then covered for the restaurant and said he’d made the mistake.
Obviously we didn’t want to eat separately, and I’d eaten half of mine - sharing some by the time they came clean.
They then doubled down it wasn’t a big issue, when we went to pay. We tried to explain it’s dangerous to be disingenuous when confirming dishes because of allergic reactions but they didn’t care.
Charged us for mine, our drinks. Even tried to charge us the (optional) tip.
Our original waiter was good but rest of them I don’t think can be trusted not to lie.
Pros: It’s a nice building, good location on the beach

We had a delicious dinner. Crispy fried tofu, veggie pad Thai and two different curries. Everyone was satisfied. Best meal of our trip!

Excellent vegan options - Edit
They are very clear and knowledgeable about which items can be made vegan. We had the Tao Hu Thot (crispy fried tofu), the Pad Makhua (battered fried eggplant) and green curry. It was all very flavorful and delicious. I also tried the basil thai cocktail and it was incredible.

Edit- originally we thought the curries were vegan, but they have fish sauce. There is ONE veggie dish that comes vegan naturally and honestly it’s very good. Says “bean sauce” which seemed off putting but was delicious. We also ordered the spring rolls without shrimp. Pretty expensive but good

Yummy food, Friendly and helpful staff - Edit
Went here twice on our trip and second time asked if they could make the pad Thai vegan and they were super accommodating and added ‘vegan pad Thai’ as an option on their digital orders! Definitely recommended this place! Lovely ocean views at the back of the restaurant also!
