This is a nice restaurant tucked away near the beach. It's easy to miss. We almost gave up on finding it, but kept looking.
Read moreUnfortunately, I was on limited time and only had 30 minutes before getting back on my tour bus. They told me that the Dip Trio was the only dish that could be made quickly. I believe they said that all of the vegetarian dishes could be made vegan except the Veggie and Cheese Empanadas. I was looking forward to trying one of the vegetarian dishes modified, but wasn't able to.
Overall, they gave great service, the appetizer that I tried was good, and it was a cozy environment. I will have to come back!

4 vegetarian/vegan options - Edit
Nice little restaurant tucked away on the water with a few good options for vegans. The menu has 4 items ( fried rice and veg, 2 plaintain dishes and another one I forget) that are vegan, 2 of which can be gluten free as well. The food was average as was the bill, not too expensive. It’s right in the beach with a great shady view of the bay.

We had the Dip Trio (fried yucca and plantains with chimichurri, guacamole and pico de gallo), Wild rice plate and Veggie Montadito. All the food was delicious! Would definitely eat there again!

A great find with vegan options by the ocean - Edit
I had read good reviews about this place especially the montevido which the server recommended. OMG! So good and demolished in no time! The mocktail I tried Samara was refreshing with real mint and chopped ginger. I didn’t realize the gelato place was attached however I asked the server if there were dairy free options for future and there were. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and drinks by the ocean reasonably priced ( taxes included tip is not) - what more can you ask for ?! Bliss!

Nice vegan meal by the beach - Edit
This is Costa Rican food. I enjoyed a big platter with fried rice, coleslaw and tostones (fried green plantains), and a fresh watermelon juice (which was a bit too sweet).
