Really tasty with just a few options - Edit
Atmosphere: 10/10 it's right on the beach and has seats on a deck with ocean views. I found this place easily knowing it was on the beach, once I reached the end of the sidewalk I walked along the beach and saw the sign right away. I saw some reviews saying it was hard to find so hopefully that helps.

Menu: 7/10 there is a small section of the menu that is labeled vegetarian and it has 4 items. 3 of the items are vegan or can be made vegan. There are cheese empanadas that cannot be made vegan. The options on the menu are very tasty. It would be nice if there were more options or if there were vegan labels on the starters or things like that because some things were vegan, but not specifically on the vegetarian section of the menu.
Food: 7/10 I got the wild rice because the waitress recommended it to me. It's flavorful and a big portion. There is a jar of spicy sauce on the side you can add as you wish. I liked the spicy sauce so I put a bunch on it. I also really liked the plantain chips. I did not care for the cabbage side because it had so much cilantro on it that is all I could taste (I don't like cilantro, if you do I think you'd love it). I would get this dish again. To drink I got the lemon ginger drink and I really loved that flavor. It was very tart. It did come with ice cubes and the US Embassy website is vague about if that is ok to have or not. Tap water is not recommended for drinking so I hope the ice cubes are not from the tap, but who knows. That could be labeled a little better.
Payment: The waitress told me it is cash only. They do take USD and the receipt has the Honduras amount and the USD amount listed. I brought cash with me based on the embassy recommendations and also because my hotel and dive shop recommended bringing cash for the trip as well. I hope I have enough for my whole time here.
Overall it is a nice spot. The walk over is pretty along the beach, and there are lots of people looking to make a buck offering massages and hair braiding along the way. No one bothered me in the actual restaurant. The food was tasty and fresh. The spicy sauce was delicious! I will definitely eat here again. I wish there were a few more options, but it lets me try some other spots while visiting Roatan!

This is a nice restaurant tucked away near the beach. It's easy to miss. We almost gave up on finding it, but kept looking.
Read moreUnfortunately, I was on limited time and only had 30 minutes before getting back on my tour bus. They told me that the Dip Trio was the only dish that could be made quickly. I believe they said that all of the vegetarian dishes could be made vegan except the Veggie and Cheese Empanadas. I was looking forward to trying one of the vegetarian dishes modified, but wasn't able to.
Overall, they gave great service, the appetizer that I tried was good, and it was a cozy environment. I will have to come back!

Nice little restaurant tucked away on the water with a few good options for vegans. The menu has 4 items ( fried rice and veg, 2 plaintain dishes and another one I forget) that are vegan, 2 of which can be gluten free as well. The food was average as was the bill, not too expensive. It’s right in the beach with a great shady view of the bay.

We had the Dip Trio (fried yucca and plantains with chimichurri, guacamole and pico de gallo), Wild rice plate and Veggie Montadito. All the food was delicious! Would definitely eat there again!

A great find with vegan options by the ocean - Edit
I had read good reviews about this place especially the montevido which the server recommended. OMG! So good and demolished in no time! The mocktail I tried Samara was refreshing with real mint and chopped ginger. I didn’t realize the gelato place was attached however I asked the server if there were dairy free options for future and there were. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and drinks by the ocean reasonably priced ( taxes included tip is not) - what more can you ask for ?! Bliss!

Nice vegan meal by the beach - Edit
This is Costa Rican food. I enjoyed a big platter with fried rice, coleslaw and tostones (fried green plantains), and a fresh watermelon juice (which was a bit too sweet).
