Not just cake and coffee! - Edit
On the menu it has an asterix saying "ask inside for vegan options". This had previously put me off but this week we did ask and I found out the asterix means there is a vegan option for each of the menu items with an asterix eg vegan bacon, tuna, cheese etc. We had a very tasty and generous vegan sandwich. Also an avocado and bacon bagel. Coffee was tasty and vegan hot chocolate had chocolate buttons , cream and marshmallows! Also selling some vegan cakes (dairy free is not plant based). And chocolate bars. Very clean and efficient too. Definitely will return.

Good selection of teas and vegan cakes - Edit
Cute little tea room, doggy friendly, amazing choice of teas all served in proper colourful tea cups and tea pots. A great choice of cakes. Lots of teas and other goodies for sale. Not many seats inside and couldn’t reserve a table so was asked to wait outside in the rain, even though we’ve been here plenty of times!

Sorry it was raining, we can control many things but sadly the weather isn’t one of them but hope you managed to find some lovely vegan treats elsewhere in the village.

Lovely vegan cream tea - Edit
It was so exciting to have my first cream tea in a decade!! Followed by an avocado and vegan bacon bagel which was delicious, lovely seasoning on the avo and some kind of delicious rub on the vegan bacon.
Read moreNot fully vegan though so I'm not sure why it's been allowed 5*? HC's website says 5 star is only for fully veggie and vegan places but they DO have meat options.
They do however change the tablecloths between every set of customers to eliminate cross contamination on the tables, which makes me think they really care about it! Very friendly staff, too :)

Had the cream tea. Scone vegan cream and a choice of strawberry or raspberry jam. Usually have to give 24 hours notice but there was a couple in there having one so they had spare scone. Huge scone.

This is a lovely place, with friendly knowledgable staff - nothing is too much trouble and they could cater for us with 4 different vegan cakes, 2 of which were gluten free. They can cater for scones but need 24hr notice. They also do bagels, baps and toasted tea cakes! A must try if you are in the area😄

stumbled across this cafe whilst wandering Mevagissey and was honestly blown away! plant milks offered include oat, soya, hazelnut, cashew and coconut. they also offer both regular and deluxe vegan hot chocolates (deluxe has vegan cream, vegan chocolate buttons and vegan marshmallows!). vegan scones and vegan cream are also available so you don't have to miss out on the classic cream tea, but they also offer lots of dairy free, gluten free and vegan cake options (when I was there the vegan cakes were the harvest cake, chocolate torte and a billionaire bar.) a lovely ambience at this award winning cafe and fantastic service!! dogs very welcome and blankets were provided to make ours more comfortable, as well as dog treats and water. 10/10 would totally recommend!!

Read morewe couldn't decide what to have! everything was delicious. loads of plant milk options, they do a great vegan hot chocolate. salted caramel cake was moist and rich, orange and pistachio sponge was light, apple tart was great. lovely staff.
