Cafe and shop are cozy with delicious coffee - Edit
There are two Talula's--Talula's Daily is a terrific little cafe that serves breakfast and lunch, with a retail cheese and bakery shop. (Talula's Garden is a restaurant next door that has dinner only; we didn't try that one.) Cafe had vegan milk options. Quite a few vegetarian food options--soups, salads, sandwiches--but just a few vegan ones.

Great for vegetarian, but limited vegan choices - Edit
Store restaurant. Super cute decor. Busy, popular neighborhood spot. At dinner, you need reservations. During the day, you can just walk in.
Read moreI went with a friend who is vegetarian. She really enjoyed her meal. I got green curry tofu (came with white rice), which was very bland. And roasted vegetables, which were undercooked. And housemade hummus, which didn't have much flavor.
Gluten free options were limited. All the salads had dairy cheese (already mixed in).
But if you are vegetarian, and don't have food allergies/are not gluten-free, they have mountains of fabulous breads, pastries, and sandwiches.
Pros: Great location near all the shops, Quality food made in house, Adorable decor
Cons: Limited vegan options, Limited gluten-free options, Crowded at lunchtime

Read the website first - Edit
This place is a little quirky. I love the concept, but read the website. Looking on the app, it appeared to be a restaurant. We were looking for a sit-down place with service. We saw a few tables, and there was a coffee shop, but it was a market type atmosphere. According to their website, they offer a tasting menu certain evenings. Although we didn't eat there, I wanted to provide a review to help others who may just be quickly trying to find a place. In the back there are refrigerated cases full of tasty looking stuff to heat up at home. They were doing a brisk business and locals obviously love it. We are looking forward to going back to try the tasting menu.
