La comida era deliciosa, y el sevicio espectacular, a mis amigas y a mi nos encantaba ir, mi queja es sobre lo que pasaba internamente, supimos que no eran para nada justos con sus trabajadores, los manipulaban para trabajar horas de más sin un salario justo y a veces sin paga, exigiendoles hacer el trabajo para el que tenian que contratar a mas personas pero con tal de no pagar mas, les exigian ese trabajo a las mismas personas que ya de por si hacian mas de lo que debian. Sin respetar sus horarios y claro que tampoco el que esta establecido por la ley. Se que esto es comun en varias negocios, pero no deberia estar normalizado, mucho menos en lugares que dicen y se venden como respetuosos con otras especies. A varios de sus trabajadores tampoco les daban seguro medico, lo cual es completamente ilegal, y cuando cerraron, orillandolos a renunciar, ni siquiera les terminaron de pagar a algunos, y sin explicaciones, solo desaparecieron.
Read moreQue decepcionante que se dicen ser un lugar vegano, una postura que se basa en el respeto a cualquier especie y en el no causar sufrimiento a otros seres, y ellos, no explotaban a los animales tal vez, pero si a personas humanas. Y lo que mas enoja es que lo hacen a personas necesitadas de trabajo, se aprovechan de la necesidad de la gente para hacer negocio.
Para colmo, no solo lo hicieron con unos, hemos sabido que también explotaban y les quedaron a deber a personas que trabajaban, en su otro resturante gardeno, que igual cerraron y no les pagaron a varios. Para despues abrir tacongo y seguir abusando. Y esto es solo parte de todo lo que les hacian.
Este tipo de negocios no deberian seguir operando de ninguna forma, ni sus dueños seguir lucrando con el concepto de veganismo aprovechandose y explotando a las personas.
Ni siquiera cumplian con normas minimas, por que el lugar estaba infestado de cucarachas.
De no ser por las personas que trabajaban alli, como me arrepiento de haberlos apoyado con mi consumo y mis recomendaciones. No se vale lo que hicieron y de seguro van a seguir haciendo desde otros lugares si la gente sigue apoyando a estos negocios que solo buscan ganar dinero pisoteando los derechos de personas que unicamente quieren ganarse la vida pero se topan con estos tipos descarados y abusadores de doble moral. Que asco las personas que estan detras. Estoy totalmente decepcionada.

El marinado de los hongos es riquísimo especialmente la adobada con piña, es muy similar al sabor de un taco regular, también la crema de cilantro está a otro nivel de bueno.

El postre canelazos con nieve de vainilla es de lo mejor que he probado.

Si buscas un sabor casero con toque mexicano y hechos con amor lo encuentras en Tacongo!!!
Sabor al 100% y la atención excelente, muy amables.
Solo recomiendo que uno mismo ponga la salsa al gusto encima de sus tacos porque a mi parecer fue algo picosa. Si te preguntan si quieres tus tacos con todo es mejor indicar la salsa aparte.

Best tacos I've ever had! - Edit
These were the best vegan tacos I have ever had. I haven't had anything close to this in the U.S. I had three mushroom tacos at the recommendation of the server. Each had a large chunk of pineapple in the them, which was really interesting in combination with the seasoning. I have three more days in TJ, and I think I will come back here for dinner every night.

Excellent service, but be sure you have time because it can take about 10ish min to take a seat. Of course you can order to go as well. I don’t speak Spanish so I had to use the translator.

I had the quesadillas which isn’t a classical quesadilla where it’s flat. It’s a taco quesadilla which was amazing and worth the wait. I had it with the asada. The other item I had was the taco with adobada, a tiny bit spicy for those who don’t do spice but doable.
Definitely going back.

I ordered a quesadilla de chorizo and while I wasn’t a big fan of the hot cheese initially, I liked it better cold! I also got a taco de adobada and I think this one was my favorite along with a taco de birria, top 2 for sure!
My mom ordered a burrito Puerto Nuevo and liked it as well. She also ordered an agua de Jamaica, it was good just a bit sweet for our liking. I wanted to try other options so we got a corn and a dessert. The corn came with the cheese that again, I was not a big fan of. The dessert was amazing and we finished it all!
I will definitely try their tacos again and dessert. I will likely not order anything with cheese. Next time I’d like to try the tostada and torta option. #Veganuary
