great bagels - Edit
I got the cinnamon raisin bagel with the vegan cream cheese- it was great. Perfect bagel texture & consistency. I also got a prepackaged vegan protein breakfast cookie- which was very good. Great to have any place in the area with vegan options. The owner was very nice and friendly, as well.

Tabor Bagels has some great choices on their vegan menu. They don't always have all the items all the time but they always have something. The buffalo chicken sandwich with homemade ranch sauce is amazing! They sometimes even have some vegan breakfast items like an organic soy yogurt parfait or vegan desserts like peanut butter & chocolate rice krispie treats. The owner's daughter and her fiancee are both vegan chefs that work there part-time so if you go there and you want to see something specific on the menu, just ask 'em. All the bagels are vegan except for the "egg" bagels. They are baked fresh there everyday and are delicious! A real NYC bagel in NJ.
