Good enough if you have vegan kiddos. - Edit
Cute little sweet shop but only carries one vegan sorbet and maybe one vegan baked good at a time. Selling point for vegan parents is the play room in the back. You can get a coffee, they offer milk alternatives, and let your kid play for a little bit.
Read moreBut I don't think this place has enough to be on the Happy Cow list. Go down the street and support a full vegan bakery at Harmony.
Pros: Play area for kids , Vegan Sorbet, Plenty of street parking
Cons: Limited vegan treat options

Disappointing - Edit
Tried to check this place out recently (actually during vegan restaurant week, but I don't think they were participating). There were a couple vegan options labeled (I think a fruit tart and some oatmeal cookies), but that was it.
Read moreI waited to ask someone what vegan options they had, and honestly kept getting interrupted. It was pretty awkward. They greeted me, but then proceeded to help someone else. I finally asked, they started responding with the fruit tart and soft serve (it was clear they didn't even know what vegan options they had), but before finishing or asking someone else, just started helping another customer.
I walked out. It was clear they didn't have a lot to offer and didn't really care that I was a potential customer. It's a bummer too, because the non-vegan stuff there looked pretty awesome. Probably won't be back here again.

Making an effort to have vegan options - Edit
I’ve gone twice now, and like other vegans I know it was my experience that this place had many more vegan options during one of Baltimore’s vegan restaurant weeks. However, both times I went there were both vegan frozen desserts and baked goods... just more options during vegan restaurant week. They also offer some vegan savory/meal items, like sloppy Joe’s recently.

Not vegan-friendly - Edit
There is 1 vegan sandwich available, and nothing else vegan on the savory menu. The sandwich is a fairly standard vegetable and hummus sandwich. There are intermittently vegan desserts available, but not on a consistent basis. Frozen yogurt, ice cream etc. is not available vegan. Whoever added this to HappyCow must have gone during Vegan Restaurant Week which is a special event that happens only 1x per year. I attended during that time and did not particularly enjoy the vegan special savory items, however the vegan dessert specials were great.
Read moreI would be happy to update this review of the owners will make multiple vegan options a consistent, labeled menu offering.

Vegan options :) Macarons! - Edit
I first stopped by Sweet Side during Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week. They had several flavors of vegan macarons in their bakery case...what a rare find :)

Friendly and Sweet! (No puns!) - Edit
I was super excited when I learned that there was vegan soft serve in my neighborhood! I investigated and was pretty pleased with the flavor, texture, and variety of toppings! I wish there were more vegan flavors, but I'm happy to have something tasty!
