Vegan pastry shop and bakery, opened Jan 2015. Makes everything on site and from-scratch including the nut milks, creams, glaces, syrups. Reported closed, Feb 2018.
Walked past here twice upon my stay in Firenze (once in the afternoon and once in the morning, both times during hours Google said it should be open) and it was all closed up.
I went in around 11am on a Monday morning and the shop only had 3 options for pastries. I’m not sure if they sold out by the time I arrived or just don’t have an extensive selections. The pie I did have was Delicious
SweeThings.eu is a small little bakery on the south side of the Arno. A delicious vegan bakery with wonderful cupcakes, tarts, cakes, and teas, what's not to love. But there's more, each day there's a menu of small lunch dishes such as pizza, seitan, quinoa, farro salad, etc. so you could make a lunch and then relaxing dessert out of your visit if you're hungry. There are a couple small tables to sit, and the owner is incredibly nice. Well worth a visit.
I was travelling around Italy and found this little gem of a bakery and take away lunch spot around the corner from my airbnb. It was incredibly delicious and Flora was very kind in explaining what the food had. Every day during lunch hour she brings out a rotating menu including seitan, quinoa, and aubergine that is just so delicious. All the pastries are phenomenal. Rich fruit tarts, apple pies, cupcakes, brownies. Wow this place is amazing. I miss it everyday. I had to open a Happy Cow account just to write a review to this place.
I didn't actually go here - my partner did - but I just wanted to reassure everyone that contrary to the below review this shop isn't closed. They are closed like many shops in Florence during August because it gets too hot.
My partner bought us some cupcakes, which were nice, the only downside she said was that there wasn't that many choices at the time she visited. I believe you can also order from them for delivery on foodora (they sell soups too and other things I think), though we didn't do that.
Craving for some vegan pastry we headed to SweeThings.eu, unfortunately the bakery has closed. It was quite a challenge to find it (whilst 40 degrees Celcius) so we were quite hungry but found a lovely lunch place in the nearby via Roma that sold yummy vegan sandwiches!
We made a point of coming here to check out the baked goods. We were not disappointed. We met and chatted with the owner, Flora, who is a long term vegan. We got both sweet and savory items to have for dessert as well as breakfast. It was all reasonably priced. The items were just wonderful and not too sweet. Definitely check it out!

Seems from their facebook page it's just temporary: We will close for vacation from 1 until 23 August.
